Wonderful result and I hope those there enjoyed it. Much needed after the recent demoralising run we've had.

Can't wait til the highlights are up now. I am most pleased for the owners. They saved the club we love, have brought a full contingent over including Tim Howard and the team really delivered, they deserve this result for the hard work they have put in. Unusual really since we seem to get embarrassed on the big occasions in the past. Maybe we'll even win a Daggers against racism day this season!

Bored of saying it, but hopefully we can put a few wins together now.

It felt like we could score at any moment today, Aldershot were absolutely woeful defensively and we didn't really seem to need to do much to create chances. In truth we could've had almost double figures had we not ballsed up some good 3 on 2 scenarios.

First look of Stevenson was positive, good in possession although not tested defensively at all, remains to be seen how he'd cope with a quicker winger.

Deering good pass for the opening goal, a little quiet otherwise but looks like he might have something.

Really hope Manny isn't badly hurt, we miss him big time when he doesn't play.

Luque can be so frustrating, good finish and did some good things but so often he gets into good positions and doesn't deliver, you can tell he's got ability but he just needs to show it more consistently.

Thought that was probably Brundle's best game for us, it helped that Aldershot never really had the ball as it's mainly defensively that he struggles, they didn't press him at all and he had the freedom to pick his passes out.

So glad we stuffed that lot, we owed them that.
Everyone played their part today, house deserved his motm, never stopped from the 1st minute. Special mention also to Stevenson, looked very assured.
Shame about Manny, hope it's not too bad.
Well done boys, sent me home very happy indeed.

Match Report - House Party as Shots are Gunned Down

On a truly incredible afternoon at Victoria Road that escalated to unbelievable proportions given the previously goal-shy nature of this team, Dagenham produced an incredible performance that done Brian East, the American owners and all of the supporters proud.

Here's my match report and player ratings from our biggest victory in just under a decade...
