How come Taylor keeps leaving out luque?
Just about our only exciting player and he leaves him out.

Also Has odimitey actually played in a winning daggers team yet by the way?

Taylor out.

To be fair Odamatey he was one of the best players on the pitch tonight along side Gordon, won countless balls back. Not his fault those in front of him had a very poor night. Luque is a much better player than Graham but the manager prefers a defensive set up.

If you go 11 games unbeaten you should beat at least one team very comfortably, we have failed to do that and the set up and strikers at our disposal will be our downfall. Down to 11th after eleven unbeaten tells you all you need to know.

County were there for the taking and we bottled it.

I like odimitey I just wondered if he had won in a daggers shirt. I thought Graham had a good game Saturday, I’m less sure about Dobson tbh.

When we play with Luque and Dobson we look better going forward but more open at the back. Games we've won with those wingers, we've relied heavily on our keeper. He's trying a compromise I guess with Dobson in and Luque out but we don't really look like scoring many. Difficult to know what to do, go a bit more attacking I guess and risk shipping a load of goals.

Luque is a fans favourite because he is exciting to watch at times, he had a bit of a mare against Chorley but hopefully he will find his way back in the team this weekend, the end of an 11 match unbeaten run is disappointing but not unexpected and hopefully we won’t go into a downward spiral like we did last year after the purple patch. Also this unbeaten run isn’t as good as it sounds in my opinion as we drew too many matches we should have won, as stated we desperately need a goal scorer or we are going to be mid table at best.

11 unbeaten isn't to be sniffed at. Wasn't long ago we struggled to go 2-3 unbeaten. But yes, we're not good enough to go up unless we get a better striker in. At present, we'll be in that battle for one of the final top 7 spots along with 5-6 others.

Good post Mark, I suppose its just getting the right balance, we have got it in us and at times a good, well run side nut that seems is whats missing, stick those comments with Sussex's County match thread and pretty sure we'd be going places, hell of a big test away at Stockport County Saturday now as that result last night would have set them right up for us.

Stick those comments with Sussex's Notts County match thread and pretty sure we'd be going places, hell of a big test away at Stockport County Saturday now as that result last night would have set them right up for us.

I don’t see us being top 7 unless Kandi gets fit or we get another striker, only have to look at the teams just above us to see they already have a much better goal difference. Saturday just got much bigger with all the recent draws, lose we could end up 15th but win and we could be 5th. One thing for sure this league is poor and we should be doing better than we are going forward on the budget given.

Where is Kandi? Has he been abducted by aliens? Rushed back after the pre season injury?

And right on cue, Stockport turned in a good performance last night. They look very good on the break, they have a lot of pace and movement, but their defence looks very suspect. I think they'll sit back and try to mug us like they did to Hartlepool last night. We tend to struggle to break down teams which sit deep, no space in behind for Grant so we need good interplay. Balanta and Luque as a front 2 could be worth looking at for this one.

I like Kandi and he's come on leaps and bounds, but I can't see him suddenly becoming a 15 or 20 goal striker. Would probably do us a favour at this moment though.
