With Halifax having a perfect start to the season, and being away from home, this is sure to be a toughie!

Cant see it happening but you would have to go with an unchanged team from the off, wouldn't you?

I said after the Woking loss that 4 points from the next two games would be a thoroughly decent return and stick by that.

1-1 draw with Quigley grabbing his 1st :thumbu:

We always struggle up at Halifax and this will be another tough one. Pete Wild has instilled a lot of confidence into them and they've had a strong start to the season. They always seem to get off to a flyer and they're the early pace-setters again this year, but I've no doubt that we can provide a test for them.

It's also worth noting that their victories came away at financially-struggling Ebbsfleet (who had ten men from the ninth minute) and at home to an out-of-sorts Hartlepool. Both of those sides make up the current bottom two and so I'd expect us to offer a bit more by way of opposition. If Taylor sticks with the side that were dominant down the flanks at Dover then we might be able to nick something.

Their manager Pete Wild said this in midweek, “I’m not going to sit at home worrying about Dagenham and Redbridge, I’m going to make sure that my lads are ready to go." - I hope Taylor adopts the same mentality and goes for it, playing to our own strengths without worrying about what Halifax are capable of. We focused too much on nullifying Woking's threat last weekend and got what we deserved, but on Tuesday we played on our advantages and it worked so let's hope for much of the same.

C'mon the Dags

Would like to see Gordon come in and Odametey again, but it’s hard to argue against using the same XI again.

Think you'll see the same team, Odamatey and Kandi are out injured and they're the only two I could see coming in. Think Liam Gordon's days are numbered under Taylor. We have good wingers and they have one of the widest pitches in the league so lets take advantage of that.

Looking forward to it but weather looks horrendous and the pitch is pile of crap so might not even go ahead.

Great opportunity for Luque and Balanta to shine. Let's hope they make the most out of the wide pitch.

Get the feeling Luque's game might not suit the expected weather

Hopefully he can still do it on a cold wet afternoon in Halifax ☔
