Remind me why he is still in a job as of this lunch time? Bet the new stats guy at the club does not forward these stats on.......
2013/14 - 9th League 2
2014/15 - 14th League 2
2015/16 - 23rd League 2
2016/17 - 4th NL
2017/18 - 11th NL
2018/19 - 18th NL
2019/20- ??????

The 16/17 season was a rare bright spot but the pattern is that we've got progressively lower each year for the last six years. Our previous big opportunity to change the trend was when Still had the budget under Hopkin but we all know how that ended. This year should be another opportunity to change the trend but if Peter Taylor is still our manager at the end of the season, I wouldn't back against the trend continuing.

Just a little reminder here, when the thread was started Quigley was the worst player we’ve ever had and Taylor was leaving luque and others out while getting heavily defeated at home and it was shit.

Any daggers team on a 7 match unbeaten streak obviously the manager is a legend and previous dud players are of course prospective signings for premier league clubs. And long may it continue.

Can’t belive he is still in charge as of today, have the board not learnt anything from previous bad decisions. Shambles.

The owners are here at the weekend. I fully expect the manager to be on the agenda when they are. Would you expect them to have done anything knee jerk when they were due here so soon?

Extinction? WTF?

Sorry but when.you set a low bar target of Playoffs ,which is 7th in real money, that further equates to being the best of seven in a mini league.

Is the incumbent that far off hitting the target set. Notice we sign a Striker around the same time as we did last year. If he. Is only half as good as last years recruit all of a sudden the target looks achievable .

Cant see why the owners will even consider dumping him as his defence will be that he is on course for the target set which is a rather pathetic 7th.

We are lumbered for the foreseeable as I view it not helped by the weakness of this League.
So you take your choice ,you either turn up every week or whenever you can or you dont .
Thats all I can do and despite having reservations ,it is will be something I will continue to do.

That’s got him a safety net for at least another 10 games no matter how future results go.

Funny how when it goes well he gets no credit, when it goes badly he gets all the credit
