Ha ha - how childish of the culprits.

Just a few inaccuracies in this statement.

1, the email was never given to glyn by the supporters club. It was given to glyn by 2 members of the supporters club.

2, never at any point was tony Payne’s name mentioned or even hinted at during that so that accusation is false

3, it’s a photograph of an email not a photocopy

4, having seen the email, it would be near impossible to acquire all of the email addresses of the directors/ staff members other clubs left to play. If it was proved that the email is a hoax they could prove that the email addresses on the email are fake or how was they was so easily acquired?

5, why has every other club since Eastleigh been asking about flags on the door of the ground? 4 stewards at woking to remove flags that apprently they have not been made aware of as “no email was sent”

I take it you have seen the email in question?

For a club that is historically sluggish at making official statement - Kim Jung Thompson seems VERY alarmed and swift to act on this occasion.

Thommo is clearly ****** off that he is no longer able to run the club in the North Korean fashion to which he has become accustomed - ****** off that there are supporters out there willing to pull him up on the way he has behaved for years. Tries to silence said supporters by sending an e-mail to fellow National League clubs (hoax my arse) - and then panics and cries foul play / fake news when pulled up on it!

I was at Woking and saw with my own eyes the Stewards confiscate the flags and tell the supporters they were banned.

Now everyone is going to be jumping on this a couple of questions I like to know the answer to.

1- How do they know where it was handed to Glyn and by whom.
2- How do they know it`s fake unless they have seen the original.
3- Having a look at some of the clubs directories etc. they all don`t have email address to individual persons and strangely enough even our club you can`t find an email address to anyone either,so how can the said person/persons email anyone without their email address.
4- Finally why have they not put their name to this statement like a lot of others that are issued.

No, not sure why that matters. If someone showed me a photo of something and told me it was a photocopy, I wouldn't be arguing the point with them.

I'd guess Glyn told them. He is on the board of the football club, hadn't you realised?

There would be clues in the format, date/time etc.

I sure it would be impossible to find the email addresses of senior people at any football club, especially if you only had a couple of months to do so... Or you could guess. Maybe that is how they know its fake?

You lost me. it is a club statement on the club official website. Pretty clear it is from the football club, no?

The bit of that statement that made me laugh the most was this:

I love the use of the word confirmed.

Bearing in mind the "specialists" they used to carry out due diligence and credit worthiness of Tamplin - I'd highly question the "specialists" they have used in this instance.

This same topic was discussed on a thread late August. My post on that thread told of a conversation I had with an Official at AFC Fylde regarding an email they had received from our club pointing out the then recent behaviour of a minority of our fans and a problem with some of our flags being displayed at recent games.

I had just had a long tiring journey and was only at Fylde to collect my tickets so wasn't in the mood to delve any deeper with the club official. At least one member of this forum attempted to question my posting in his posting but myself and my partner know what we heard at the time.

I am not a Supporters Club member, am not pro or anti flags and as a male of pensionable age attend matches purely to watch a game of football involving the team I support. Not interested in internal politics of the club but something about this latest club statement doesn't ring true to me basing solely on what I heard from an opposition club official wearing a club tie and gave me the impression of someone of high ranking within their club.

We now have a unanimously voted Supporters Club committee member to represent Supporters Club members at board level so maybe we should get a reply from him, or at very least a Supporters Club committee member to tell us on this forum their version of what actually happened in the Supporters Club Office last Saturday and their view on the email document shown to them.

I`ve just had all post`s on here checked by the Micky Mouse Club and they 150% confirm that they are all original and not written by aliens.
