Views from the Sieve

Quite a good game for a friendly.

We won't play a team like them in the league - very quick and good at moving the ball around.

Ling looked good at right back and Pennell looked decent at left back. Shame they both went off hurt, but Pennell was on the end of a challenge that deserved a red card.

Ferrier looked good, big strong and direct. Will be a little different to what we had last year.
Bloomfield has filled out a lot. Did well to win the penalty and then took it well.
Good to see Robinson back and looking fit.

Agree with all of that, one of the better friendlies I've seen and thought we looked decent.

Not sure what I think about the centre defence though, do we need Doe's pace? But I really rate Robson, and Bondz is perhaps the physical presence we need. Tricky one.

We will struggle at the back without Doe. No pace whatsoever.
