Peterborough are trying to sign him and are willing to compete with Pompey I've heard.
Peterborough just sold their main striker and have two potential replacements lined up - one of which is Hawkins. That's what I've heard from the Peterborough side.

Interesting as he didn`t play in either team last night ( Tuesday ) are they saving him from injury ?

Personally I think Hawkins will leave.
Will be interesting if Stilly thinks the strikers we have will be up to replacing him considering we do have a decent number: Cheek, Ferrier, Romain, Bloomfield and White.
None offer the option that Olly does though so we will have to wait and see.

If he goes and the likelihood is that a fee will be paid, what is stopping us using the money to strengthen the forward line?
