congratulations to York City

on winning the FA trophy, must have a half decent team.
something seriously wrong though how they got relegated, resources must be have been quite ok as well, seeing their last 3 home league gate attendances, 3k, 3.9k, 4k.

It seems to me consecutive relegations are becoming more of a thing these days. Think a lot of it is probably down to money teams suddenly reducing budgets. That said, I think York are a team who just had the most terrible start to the season and couldn't recover, although they were minutes away from actually doing so on the final day. If they had the team they finished for the whole season rather than since January, they'd have comfortably survived I'm sure.
I think the gate attendances you give Pondfield are probably up a bit on their average since they had everything to play for, especially the last two. Irregardless though, their resources are good - I'm sure they'll be back soon.
