ffs ! We could have Arbs and Gain with Robbo in goal and Danny Green with a broken leg. Kevin Maher to cheer up Lee Wilson and maybe Doe Abs and Howell ,Solomon Taiwo and Baz Savage will all sign for us. Young hungry players my arse ! How old and not hungry was ade yuseff ? Hoofy geriatric united ! Benno legend but scored about 5 times in the last 2 seasons. This will just make us hate him. That or you'll all be making excuses for him for bring now quite shit. I guarantee there's more than a few of ya want griffiths back at left back. ****** ****** ****** ****** !!!!!

Griffiths would be a good addition. Love to see him playing those long balls into the channel for Benson next season with Cureton waiting in the middle to put it in the net.

Do Ya homework in the conf season with Luton he was a regular and scored 17 goals in 36 games. In the FL2 he scored 5 goals in 40 odd apps in which, and I stand corrected, the vast majority were from the bench. No one is saying bring the all the ol lot bloody back are they.We already know it's gonna be a very young squad nothing wrong with having a bit of experience around the place is there.

I'd bite your arm off for them 3 but Benno is now too old unmotivated and not a hungry ambitious player anymore. It's a make do knee jerk reaction to bring him back.

How on earth do you know what his motivation levels are at? Are you his agent or something? I somehow think not....

Its just human nature. When you are young (benno isn't) and hungry(benno isn't)and you've earnt far more money elsewhere(benno has)and you are at the arse end of your long career(benno is)you just want to relax a bit, enjoy your wealth and not knock your cods off anymore.Apply this to your own working life,I don't know your age or situation but if you are still hungry in your 40's 50's im gonna suggest you didn't get where you wanted to yet and you probably wont.(benno has).

I know you're on a wind up but, Cureton?

Has anyone considered this is a long term plan?

Not in the playing sense of course, but JS has said he's only staying on another year, but wants to re-embed the daggers ethos into the club, so A. who better to bring back as a good sign for the new players? and B. what are the chances he then stays on in a coaching capacity as Currie did?

Not to mention the fact that we'll need a new manager in 12 months time..

Cureton scored 20 goals last year aged 39
ARNU wrote: unmotivated
Believe he went to at least a couple of our last few games, still quite obviously has the club in his heart
ARNU wrote: and not a hungry ambitious player
Yeah whatever you say but he's been nothing but ambitious over the course of his career, I'd argue
