That is potentially a really fantastic signing!!

The team/squad is now starting to take some decent shape - albeit some 5-6 months late....

If he's anything like he was at Southend / in Luton's promotion season he's going to be brilliant. Don't know where we've pulled that one from, perfect replacement for Dunne and could possibly bring even more in terms of going forward.

Great signing if he can maintain his fitness. He leads by example and should,in my opinion, be given the captaincy as soon as he settles

JS is making some great signings. With a clear out coming at Luton will Griffiths be the next one to follow JS?

That's an excellent signing. Hopefully Ferdinand will be on his way soon. He was only on a short term contract if I am correct!!
I hear from a Sarfend fan that we are interested on Prosser as Brown is letting him ho apparently. A decent centre half at this level.

On paper an excellent signing but some comments from a League two forum:

Luke Guttridge signs for Dagenham. Strange one really as Still never really played him here in the last couple of seasons despite Gutts making some pointed comments about being fit to play. Also reliable rumours of him spreading disharmony behind the scenes being part of the reason Still left him out. Very odd.

Guttridge has always had dressing harm disharmony follow him, he had it at Southend before we signed him from there and a little bit here as well, rumoured to be hard to manage and a bit of an Arse hole to club staff.

Always liked Guttridge and he was awesome in our conference winning season. Really classy player on the ball but who also had a bit of nastiness about him. Used to amaze me what referees would let him get away with him saying to them, at times reffed games! Has been a few "rumours" (some people outlaws but can't remember if it was the one reliable guy or the rest of the people who post there!) here and there that he has been causing a few issues in the squad this season and hasnt really played that much.

Don't let him dish out the half time oranges!

Broxbourne Borough Council has defended itself for unsuccessfully prosecuting a man who dropped orange peel in a street.
The case reached the local magistrates’ court, which ruled that while Luke Gutteridge had dropped the peel it could not be certain he had discarded it, an essential part of the offence.
A council statement said an enforcement officer saw Gutteridge drop a whole orange peel on the ground. But Gutteridge said he picked up the peel before being issued with a penalty notice, and so argued he had not discarded it.
The council said it considered asking the magistrates to state a case for determination by the High Court “because their finding clearly ran contrary to the evidence presented, but determined that the further costs on this relatively minor misdemeanour could not be justified”.
