Prediction v Oxford

This Saturday sees us return to league action against high flying Oxford, whom it must be said never really got out of second gear in their victory over us in the JPT. Our comeback victory over Morecambe may just be the turning point in our poor season so far. Here's hoping.
Daggers 2-2 Oxford
Hemmings
Vassell
Att 2,196 (700)

Hopefully the momentum will see us earn a result against Oxford, despite the apparent gulf in class visible ten days ago.
Daggers 2 (Vassell 70, Jones 89)
Oxford 2 (Hoban 12, Roofe 19)
Attendance: 1721 (340)

Yeah hopefully its lifted the boys and on paper it could have the makings of a good game, we've got some tricky games coming up and its no mathematical scientist needed to stress how important points added now are as an urgency to clear this awful campaign thus I'm sticking my neck out and going a 2-1 to us, looking forward to see this Vassell for the first time seems to be a good bonus to our side along with Dunne. A home win! can you imagine the confidence we'd get beating that mob.

Lose 2 nil.
Hope we get 2 goal Vassell from the other night and not the other one who impersonated a footballer on his debut.

Think we'll put in a decent(ish) performance for about 45 minutes but ultimately lose the game.
Daggers 1
Oxford 2
Crowd of about 1400 with just over 300 away fans.

they beat us in 2nd gear last time, think they will be up for this one.

Dagenham 1 oxford 3

I'm with you here. And that Oxford side that beat us were weaker than their first choice 11. Despite the obviously superb result midweek, I think this is a step too far for us.
No one expects us to win and we wont imo. 0-3

The first home win will not be coming this weekend... great result at Morecambe but the weather conditions second half massively helped us out from anothershocking start... unless gale force winds come through Dagenham again and we get a second half boost the game will be completely different.
Let's not pretend it was even a first choice XI the other day against Oxford... If Roofe is on form and they control the game like last week through the midfield then we have had it.
Fancy a goal but will lose 3-1

At least now, with the omission of Boucard & Kane (barring a total head ****** of a selection from Koko) - we now seem to have a lot more steel in the middle with Dunne & Labadie.
As to how he rejigs the GK & Back Four as is almost guaranteed is anyones guess
