Wycombe red card rescinded

Slightly surprised as from the video footage the player doesn't appear (to me) to make any contact with the ball.... so it would therefore be a foul?

They don't rescind based on whether or not it was a foul. The sending off was for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity, which I'm not sure it was.
We've had them overturned in the same way.

McCrory had it a few years back for a foul that wasn't deemed a goalscoring opportunity.

Justice was done.
If the Football League had not seen sense then he would not have been able to score that last kick of the game equaliser at Portsmouth last night.
