We looked much better today.Yeah the ref was shocking and so was the result really but we switched off once all game and it was their equaliser.Nosworthy was my man of the match and obileye(I call him OB Dob) was solid thru out.Sorry but I still don't see what Kane Ferdinand has to offer although he did win a ball back second half that got a cheer.Fed up with the result,Stevenage were terrible,if we go down they're coming with us.

Better against a team who wouldn't have beaten most bottom half Conference South teams with that performance yet still only one point... Points we need from now on in not a great team game. First win is huge

Confidence is s big thing, we get the second goal today and it's game over, we didn't and paid the price. The ref today was as shocking as last weeks and that's saying something! All in all not a bad effort today by the boys, at least we're competing better and creating more chances. Nyron had a decent game today, shame about the injury.
I thought Stevenage might have changed tack under Sheringham, but they're still a dirty side as you could see by their treatment of young Jodi.

Yeh, they were filthy with the way they committed fewer fouls and had fewer bookings than us. Disgusting.
What was their treatment of Jones exactly, a couple of fouls because he was a bit quicker than them and nothing more.

Just seen the goal again and the attempt at a header from Passley is awful and Ayo let his man run off him to slot home unmarked. Although we played better we still did not win which is worrying.

Ayo wasn't at his best today. Had 1-2 shaky moments in the first half. O'Brien's good save in particular came from him playing everyone onside. The game changed really as Nyron came off. He had probably his best game today and was leading the back line excellently.

Well spotted, we were by far the more dirtier side, bravo.

Hours and Hours of work went into that shambles . If that has btought about any imptovement then we must have been truly dreadfull at the start.
Just another question was thst Clever Dick again towards the end with his hand up in the air trying to win a header, if it was then he wants sxrewing with a bristle end of a bog brush.

Well, Jodi was taken out three times in the first 5 minutes, and left limping as a result. Pretty obvious, old fashioned, League Two tactics worthy of a Westley team even though it isn't any more. Yes he was quicker, but he was also targeted and offered minimal protection from the officials. As for the bookings, two were for very iffy foot up, "dangerous play" fouls.
The officials were shocking on Saturday, not biased, just weak.

He was fouled a couple of times in the first ten minutes and that was it. A couple of fouls in his entire match time.is hardly targeting. The first foul resulted in a booking, what other protection do you expect?
one of our two bookings you mention wasn't for an iffy foot up challenge. It was for persistent infringement.

He was taken out three times in the first 6 minutes, it was right in front of us. Two were not deemed a foul even though he was clattered and being clearly targeted. When the guy was booked for the third one that left Jodi limping it was 6:26 into the game.
Ferdinand and Boucard were both booked for foot up challenges, Ferdinand was particularly unlucky as the guys head was very low and it could easily have been dangerous play the other way.
