Just want to say what a fantastic day. Helmond fans and club were very welcoming. From the start of the journey at 4.30am to the return at 2am everything was great. Both sets of fans were a credit to their clubs. Would be great if this could be a regular event. I really am lost for words. Haven't had such a great day out at football for many a long year, apart from the play off final.
Was great chatting to Wayne and the boys after the game. Sounds like Zav is ready to go fully fit, he told us the reason he didn't play yesterday was due to the 5g surface but will be raring to go from here on in.
Thommo you could learn a lot from this, open day in the car park and free entry to the game.

Likewise, great 24 hours. Flew out with wife sat morning. Eindhoven is a lovely city, she loved the shops so that's good. Match wasn't the the greatest, but the boys had been training hard, and the heat didn't help. Great strike from centre midfielder Jack Connors on the goal.

Would certainly go again, but Marbella or Valencia would be nice in July next year.

Fantastic trip. Bumped into ten or so of the players in Eindhoven on Saturday night too, all came across as great chaps.

Same time next year!

Been going daggers for twenty odd years and had shed loads of weekends away etc,but this weekend was the best thing we've ever done.Absoleutly incredible trip,to get that many supporters away was amazing, and to bond like we all did with our own fans and helmonds too was superb. Thanks to Wayne and the boys for really appreciating all the efforts we all made to get over there, great touch coming outside after the game by the beer stall so everyone could have a chat and some great piccys were taken.Just little things like that mean so much and then last night in Eindhoven was brilliant, far too many ales were had and great to see the team yet again acknowledging the us and others who stayed over.Would love it if this could be a regular thing,so easy to get to,45 min flight, great place bring it on again and again please.

Love travelling and supporting away games and this game definitely goes up there amongst the best, done on a decent budget and although slightly more difficult to get from Eindhoven to Helmond both ways via trains (Maintenance shut down) it was a great experience to meet fellow daggers and Helmond fans, share a good drink together and bring the best out of football and not a bad game either. Eindhoven is a real vibrant town and that Statumseind part of town Saturday night was heaving and beers went down a treat. Just hope the club can do this again pre season/s, and to return to a place as nice as this part of the world. Think the team with the addition of a couple of players maybe a few weeks after season kick off will do quite well, seemed we had a bit of a rhythm about us and looked quite good in places. Roll on day's like this again!
