Agreed. There seems to be no willingness to try anything different. What it hurt to have chucked Doidge on up front for 15 minutes.

Yep. Both in this game and the Southend game it was obvious that the system wasn't working and that we needed a change to give a physical presence up top. I know we have had a good run, but it's games like this that his critics see as exposing his tactical weakness.

I must admit I was baffled by wayne's team selection today. I thought Doidge did well last week, yet he can't even get on as a sub. Jakubiak and Jones were like fior like subs replacing chambers and Luke at a time when we needed to mix it up a little. It's not as though teams like burton, southend and wycombe played us off the pitch, there's just no variation in our play. Very disappointed and annoyed that we've once again shot ourselves in the foot by being inept tactically. And does anyone else think obileye is becoming a liability?

Doidge was warming up and in his kit on the touchline after 75 but then sat down, never to come on... Not sure what the manager saw to convince him to stay in the dug out

For about an hour we more than matched them. We played with fight and looked like a team. The only think missing was a cutting edge. If there was someone up there to support Cureton and a lot less balls played to feet or on the floor, we could've got a result. The minute they score it was game over. Where was the reaction? Why was a boy sent on to do a man's job? Why was JC still left isolated? Why didn't Doidge play? All credit to the boys for their efforts, but sadly yet again our tactics and formation let us down....WB!!! Also, despite all the issues with Labadie, why was he on the bench? You just cant play Hemmings and Chambers in the same team.

Over-reaction IMO. One of those games which could have gone either way, not going to win them all.

Don't know about go either way, we forced an excellent save in first half and a routine one in the second, whereas they hit the bar, scored, forced Cousins into several good saves and had several goal mouth scrambles just before they scored.

I don't think we were terrible... but certainly at 1-0 down we offered very little. Looked safe until then

Majority of their good chances came after the goal from what I can recall. Goals change games and all that

Obileye. A liability. I've heard it all. Arguably Ayo has been the difference between us being comfortably sitting in mid-table to being in a real relegation fight. Yes, sometimes Ayo plays poor balls forward, but you cannot expect a league two centre half to have amazing distribution. Defensively, Ayo is very strong and he doesn't lose the ball in dangerous areas, which you would have a right to criticise a defender at any level for.

Ayo would be my player of the season if Cureton wasn't here.He made a couple of mistakes today which was 2 more than hes ever made in a daggers shirt ever. That boy will go all the way,he will play in the prem.

A team of midgets! What chance does JC have against such big lumps!
Their number 9 playing with JC in a Daggers team would see us flying up the league, but WB prefers midgets.

Errrr one that came in about the 86th minute and perhaps a few more if their offside trap had been as good as Stevenage last week .Anyone of which would have got a result

'Baffled by Wayne's team selection' is a massive overreaction.
It's clear why we played Doidge last week, it clear why Cureton was favoured this week. The only one that you ask questions about is Chambers, but with Labadie sensibly dropped he's the obvious choice to come back in in the same position that he played in the win over Plymouth (I assume it was the same position anyway, wasn't there for the Plymouth game).
