Could Joey Jones be the answer? Haven’t seen a fit Joey Jones at centre half.

Jones is here to play midfield. Never been used at the back for us from memory and if he was moved out we would need a midfield replacement.

I thought his first few games for us were at centre half. Agree it leaves the midfield hole to fill, but I’m hopeful Phipps could go some way towards that if (big if) he can stay fit.

He played well at the back, but again as right of the 3. I don't think he's a middle of the 3 option, he takes risks and isn't dominant physically. I really think we need a signing.
