Awful game. No ideas going forward

Guessing Yusseff and Murphy were injured or banned

Awful match but I think they were as bad as us apart from the wonder strike. Two bad teams, should have been 0-0 really. Could Cousins have done better on the goal btw? Will need to see it again but he was on that side of the goal...

I was behind the path of the shot and it looked right in the corner. No blame on the keeper at all

Power hit a shot about 10 mins later that skimmed just wide

Fact we didn't have a shot on target is the real issue

Couldn't help but smile at the collective chuckle from the sieve after their goal when the scorer was announced as Max Power... Before heading a sole voice say 'yeah I fcking bet'

Agyemang started alright with some nice little touches and quick lay offs but got progressively worse as the game went on. He was a big part of why we were so shit today. They had a fairly nippy defence and normally where Cureton has the legs over their CBs, today he didn't. The game was crying out for Yussef but for some reason Wayne didn't put him on (or start him). Chambers put in a dire performance as well today which is a shame as I think he's been back to performing better lately. The 3-5-2 works if we're fluent but in my opinion, Agyemang slows everything down and takes away the fluency of our play. I'm also not quite sure what the point of bringing on Boucard was?

Did agyemang know which way he was meant to be shooting?

I know he is a hold up player but he didnt make a single forward pass all day. He made us so slow and lacklustre.

Ade or Murphy would make us as a team better as he is so slow and boring to watch imo. Poor signing on todays evidence as most of us thought.

He does a job but not in a team that are usually quick on the ball.

Agyemang definitely the weak link today some truly shocking touches, and i thought that signing may be a touch of genius short term. Play him central for the cross into the box but at times he was playing on the right wing, what the ****** was that about? When we went one down thought right here we go Ade or Murphy, but neither. Was very confused by that final sub. Thought we missed Porter today.

We'll even as your biggest supporter Wayne even I have to ask if the Skate was the answer what the bloody hell was the question. To think that bloke has managed to con a living out the game for 15 years really does make the mind boggle.

Ok you may have seen something after studying the opposition but it was clear as night follows day that they were never going to be bothered by him and how he was never replaced by either Murphy or Yasseff long before the goal even I am struggling to work out.

Then again I knew he was next to useless,a struggling team does not lend you an inform Striker what ever his attributes are.

Questions have to be asked about the midfield there was An hour and half of nothing in that department offensively.

The only good thing I take from that was the defence who look a far more solid unit. The goal was a wonder strike straight into the postage stamp. It was only going to be something like that to beat us or more to the point the defence.

After the effort of the last two games I really did think we would be quick out the blocks and take the game by the scruff of the neck. Let's face it we were facing a team who have won once away all season not Real Madrid.

Can't tell you how disappointed I am tonight Wayne .

I don't think you can put this all on Agyemang. At least he won and kept the ball.We just stopped getting it to him. What about Boucard,Batt ,Chambers,Hemmings and even Cureton giving the ball away all day ? Not sure what the substitutions achieved to be honest.

Warrens take on it......

He won the ball? I must've missed that because all I saw was him fail to jump or head the ball 5-6 times and watched it roll through his feet when it was past to him. in the second half he was shocking. why Labadie came off instead of him i've no idea.
Sorry about your damn luck!

It did feel like a bit of a directionless performance today up until that ******** goal, just before he hit it i thought your never scoring from there and the wanker did. Helped in with the post mind. I thought just before that it had 0-0 written all over it. Not enough wing play for me today, with a big lump like Agyemang finally up there, put the bloody ball on that head.

oh my eyes, my poor eyes...

It is good to read that I wasn't alone in my thoughts and wishing I was elsewhere for 90 mins.

Were there any redeeming features from this game? I honestly couldn't find any.

We still keep kicking the ball in the air to our 6ft 6 player that doesn't exist and hardly strung more than a few passes together. Whichever way we play it is not working for us.

It was a painful and lackluster performance to watch and, regardless of the previous 2 wins, endorses the fact changes need to be made.

EDIT: I have just listening to the Wayne Hackett audio linked in a previous post. FFS. Blaming Cousins for the goal???? Cheap way to pass blame for total management failure. I am so ANGRY about this. This is a management team that are going to get us relegated. Changes are long overdue.

Agyemang started alright I though so did one of the reporters there 15 - Agyemang wins a free kick just outside the area. The big man has made a great impression so far, looks brilliant. he did fall away from then onwards

For some reason though the way that was played in the last couple of wins was totally changed and there was no urgency or tempo to the play. Don't know what his scouting trips to watch tranmere play taught him but they certainly didn't help
