Well that was dreadful and all of a sudden that Aldershot game seems far longer than 7 days ago.
From the moment the team news filtered through it was fairly obvious that we were going to endure a difficult afternoon however we surpassed those low expectations with a performance that was truly shocking, against a side who may admittedly be in a bit of a false position but ultimately still sat 20th. It once again proved how reliant we are on a couple of players, whom we are bang average at best without.
Every time we've gone behind away from home this season, we've gone on to lose the game. As soon as Fylde went one up today everyone in that away end knew it was done from then on. I don't want to seem hypocritical after raving about our display last weekend but to watch us unravel in such a fashion today undid a lot of that hard work, squashing all that buzz and killing the momentum. Let's hope House and Deering are back soon because otherwise we're heading for a difficult few weeks.
