Out the two fancy Salford more because as Arnu has pointed out it may not be high on their priority's.
Very disappointed that Needham Market have been forced to withdraw owing to their team not being able to secure release from working commitments after Their game was postponed at Weymouth on Saturday.
They asked that the game be rearranged for a Saturday but the FA have refused by all accounts and demand that it is rescheduled this week.
At the moment the pitch at Weymouth is still not playable so they could we'll have another wasted journey\release from their work commitments.
The FA should be ashamed of themselves by not demanding Weymouth take a more reasonable approach. Surely teams like Needham Market give a bit of colour to this rather dull Competition and help make it what it is.

Completely agree, its silly how everyone is wanting a lower division side. Who have we been knocked out by in the first round the last two years? Hereford and Worthing. However this year we’ve beaten one of non-leagues top form sides and we have the opportunity to knock out another big team early on. Has it ever occurred to anyone that those two teams won’t want to play us on the form we’re on and hope to keep up over the Christmas period. Especially if we take the three points on Saturday.

If they can't make a midweek away game in a National Competition then they shouldn't enter it TBH.SUSSEX DAGGER wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 9:41 pm Out the two fancy Salford more because as Arnu has pointed out it may not be high on their priority's.

If they'd played at home originally, drawn and needed a replay they'd have needed to get it played.
If they refuse a fixture then they get kicked out.
You don't have to do it at all really.
If you can get to the final avoiding "better" teams why wouldn't you want to. Let them knock each other out.
How many "better" teams did we play when we made the final in '97? Not many.
Quarter and semi finals were teams from outside the Conference.
When it came to the semis I doubt anyone wanted us to play Woking or Stevenage.

Not too much shock in the Shots game, they had 10 fit first team players so opted to play a full u18 team.
U cant knock the young lads selected given their chance but think its out of order Aldershot playing that game like that, firstly to the die hard fans who made the effort over to Bedfordshire on a miserable December night wanting their team to do their best even though the sun ain't shining with them at present, and that club grossly devalue the competition, seems to be carrying down what top clubs do with our once great League Cup and F.A Cup competitions over the last few years and only taking it more seriously when they begin sniffing the Wembley turf. Blimey how the game has changed.
As much as it pains me to defend Aldershot in any way, they haven't been out of order to their supporters at all.Dagdale wrote: ↑Wed Dec 19, 2018 6:56 am U cant knock the young lads selected given their chance but think its out of order Aldershot playing that game like that, firstly to the die hard fans who made the effort over to Bedfordshire on a miserable December night wanting their team to do their best even though the sun ain't shining with them at present, and that club grossly devalue the competition, seems to be carrying down what top clubs do with our once great League Cup and F.A Cup competitions over the last few years and only taking it more seriously when they begin sniffing the Wembley turf. They announced what they'd be doing well before the game, so their supporters knew exactly what to expect. If they then went to the game then that's their own problem.
Yeahhhh what a result, well done to all who made the journey, and to top it all west aaam lose at home, Billericay lose 0-4 and our boy Dwight Gayle gets a hatrick (not so important but I always look what he’s doing)
