Just to say Sutton's pitch is 3G Maidstone's is also a 3G both are the best there is. Calling a pitch 4G does not make it superior.SUSSEX DAGGER wrote:Yes it was tongue in cheek but can't emphasis the difference between the two surfaces the latest 4G In My opinion being far superior . The main diffrence is the ball dies not speed up as much when it is wet , notice they turned taps on before and at half time.speedy wrote:Conned us Sussex? Do you really think clubs including our's dont know whether it's 3G or 4G. Be a bit worrying if we had to do our homework to find out what it is and got it wrong. Or was your comment tongue in cheek?

Let me assure you that pitch at Sutton is far from the best there is and the 4G surface, which Sutton certainly is not, is far far superior .

Nobody is argueing that Amber , the arguement is and remains 3G is not fit for purpose In the pro game where 4G in my opinion is.
I'm a saracens fan, Aviva Park is a 4g pitch.
