Overall yesterday a very enjoyable day and a performance that deserved a push up the table, thought the whole team steadied the ship in all departments, yes York are at present a very poor side but couldn't see throughout the game our boys letting it slip. Jamie took his goals really well and thought Widdowson and Ayo's work rate was superb, and well done Billy B for that clear off the line that at that time if succeeded would have made it perhaps a harder finish. Must say without doubt York is probably one of the real English feel cities that you could ever put foot in, real gem of 'old school' shops, restaurants & pubs and a fine friendly place and a trip to Betty's Tea rooms with the Mrs to celebrate a good win went down a treat.

Met up with our former neighbours from Leeds(Pudsey) and my old school mate from Hexham. Top day out and the most comfortable away win I've witnessed in the last couple of years. We looked composed. Really hope we can persuade Charlton to let Ayo stay.....

Great stuff from the Travelling Support yesterday who assisted by our Friends from the North Aka The Geordie Daggers and some sort of Fancy dress Stag a Party really got behind the team.
Made ourselves heard throughout on an open Terrace and what Scenes after JC first goal.
Can't emphasis enough from the team performance to the Support that's what being a Dagger is all about.
Just wish we could get the same thing going at Home games
