That has come from the manager possibly taking on board a good few of our grievances and reacting to our disappointment in him and his coaching staff. If that's what it takes then so be it.Equally,he should be praised for getting the team to try hard and do well, thats all we ever wanted.Abs at RB was a pleasing development today.Well done WB.

Agree! I don't care if it's wayne or anyone else managing us if they are getting results! There's real belief for the next home game for me which has been lacking from myself I must admit!

Hope we extend loan of Obileye - the alternative is the return of Brian. Here are the worrying stats on Brian:

With Brian Saah:
W 23% D 19% L 58%

Without Brian Saah
W 42% D 42% L 18%

Goals conceded per game with Brian Saah 1.76

Goals conceded per game without Brian Saah 0.42

Saah's alright. No more accident prone than any of the others.Had a bad run,not the first to do that either.Serial ****** artists like Batt cause me more concern.

The problem is that his "bad run" has been pretty much since he joined until he was dropped.
It wasnt that he was accident prone, it was that anyone else that played alongside him ended up being worse than they were with anyone else. Oh, and that he actually wasn't very good.

Wrote this post out three times then gave up as I couldn't put it better... the guy dragged Doe and the rest of the defence down when he played... often the midfield too with his 'I'm Rio Ferdinand' forays in to the opposition half before being dispossessed. He mustn't come back for any lengthy period this season or the next... if he the answer when (in my opinion rather than if) Doe leaves in July, then it will be little short of a disaster

Burnett did not want to drop Saah because he was his signing, would rather drop Doe who is clearly the better player. Says all you need to know about how stuck in his ways the manager is. You can be wrong sometime it's no big deal if you admit your wrong but it becomes a big deal when we kept losing with our best defender on the bench.
