Good guy. A stand up guy who made every patron coming in to the bar welcome, even the visiting fans which gained him an excellent reputation in non league circles. Every home game in the '60's and from what I recall the '70's, he was there in the stand singing (actually always leading the chant), "Digger Dagger, Digger Dagger oi oi oi"...........
