Re: Matchday Prograaaaaaaaaaaaaaaames

I too used to enjoy Travellers Tales.
One time they had a horrible experience (it was Rochdale, I think) when the hot water in the Ladies came out a bit fast.

Re: Team v Aldershot

Any chance we could get the cat from Everton on a short-term loan?

The way he left those stewards for dead....

Re: Orient Away Boxing Day Kick off Time change

Why do they do this? The Boxing Day games at Victoria Rd are always an early kick off as well... I'd have thought that everyone would want a longer lie in that day.

Re: FA Cup Draw Home v Leyton orient

I'm not a season ticket holder so I have to pick and choose my games. To be honest a game against our local rivals in the actual FA Cup seems more appealing than - for instance - North Ferriby or South Fylde or East Bromley or whoever.

Re: Could be worse - we could be Villa.

I was at that game, it was the 67-8 season. It was in fact in the old Second Div, and Villa had just been relegated, so it was the first time we'd played them for ages, and in fact it was the first derby I'd been to. We beat them 4-2; and went on to do the double against them. England had of course ...

Re: Academy

Everton wasn't gutless. Whitehawk away wasn''t gutless. Plymouth at home wasn't gutless Mansfield away wasn't gutless Yes, When we've got well beaten - Barnet away, WB's last match, Oxford JPT/tonight - it''s because we have poor players or are poorly organised. Not a lack of guts. Just wait till wh...

Re: So Next Season.............

Although I have never seen them play or ever been to the ground, I was actually born and bred in Solihull, so that will be an awkward one for me. Their ground is the former Birmingham City training ground where I used to go and collect autographs in the late sixties. You can all stay at my mum's old...
