1 year ago today
What a day! Everton away. Seeing little Dagenham playing a full strength Everton at Goodison. Remember it vividly, 6am outside the ground with 10 coaches, speaking to lovely scousers in a pub and then a memorable 90 mins of football! Noise was unbelievable, what a great day to be a Dagger.

Re: Fan kicked out
More songs about Jimmy Saville too ... classy Was that our fans or theirs? Because from where I was sitting it sounded like theirs. Although I could be wrong. It was ours. They started a chant about someone being one of their own, but before they could get to the third line where they stated who th...

Re: I come with news
Didn't put himself in the shop window with tonight's performance though. On the contrary, thought Hawkins was great last night and proved he's more than just a goalscorer. He got a superb flick-on for Gutts' goal and held the ball up well too, plus had to deal with two men all over him whenever we ...

Re: Stands
I've only ever been in the TBS three times including Saturday and found you could see the match much better and the view was very good. I don't think there's need to shut any stand as it will kill the atmosphere.

Re: Worthing FAT 1st Round
Every team goes through a bad patch but nobody can dispute Still is a great manager. The injuries we have had is ridiculous, yes, but weren't the problem on Saturday. Complacency, desire and determination were. I don't think people should let Burnett's one terrible year overshadow the two decent one...

Murphy's on loan at York now.ARNU wrote:Couldn't jump or head the ball except when he played against us, kept going offside and was lazy. You all loved him. And that's why he's now at Man Utd... sorry non league forest green !

Re: Crowds
Crowds traditionally drop around Winter time. It happened last year around the Morecambe/Oxford games where we averaged 700. Nothing to worry about providing we regain form.

Re: so...who starts
Well firstly I think Cousins is the better keeper and should be shocked he can't get a start when he's good enough for the FL. I wouldn't disrupt the flow though.

Forest Green (A) - Predictions
In the biggest game of our season so far, the Daggers head to the New Lawn to face the league leaders Forest Green in a crucial top of the table clash. They have kept seven straight clean sheets and will be hard to beat. I'm gonna say it'll end 2-2, Whitely and Hawkins with our goals. I'm guessing t...

Aldershot Town
So, after the disappointment of Saturday's late equaliser, we have a chance to put it right tonight as we entertain Aldershot Town under the Victoria Road floodlights. This is a big game that we need to win ahead of Saturday, though we might have to do it without Okenabirhie, who could join Guttridg...

I'm hoping for Southend away. I've missed local derbies at Roots Hall.

Re: Daggers vs Tranmere
Tranmere are in a period of transition and won't be relishing a trip to the league leaders (feels good to say!). I'm going for a second successive 3-1 win to the Daggers, with Hawkins, Maguire-Drew and Okenabirhie all scoring. :D
