Re: Daggers 5 Tilbury 3
It may have been a team of fringe players but you'd expect those players to want to prove themselves in order to regain a first-team place. Certain players would've done themselves no favours in regard to ensuring they're in McMahon's plans as we largely struggled against a side consisting of playe...

Re: Daggers 5 Tilbury 3
It was mostly our first team that the previous manager thought could get us up , how glad are we he has been binned. Many of these plyers will also be binned as I’m sure the manager will bring his own team in during the summer but some will need paying off. Strikers might have bagged some goals but...

Daggers 5 Tilbury 3
We got the result, that's pretty much the only positive.
Near Full Eleven of supposed first team players, struggled massively against a team from Three levels below.
Was embarrassing at times, as they passed it around us for fun.
Massive overhaul required in the summer.

Re: Notts County Home
Well pleased with that boys, fully deserved 3 pts.
Same players, different manager, better result.
5 more wins required, then we can re-set for next season.
Peter/Craig, well done on making the correct decision, before it was too late.

Re: Notts County Home
Well, lets hope we at least see a noticeable difference in the performance/approach, and the 2 new blokes look like they
are adding something to the team.
Personally, I think a point, would be a decent result, against this mob.

Re: Balanta
We gotta stop relying so much on the return of Balanta, he is a very good player, but not a prolific goalscorer. Of course he massively improves us overall, but he can't do it on his own, and to think he will instantly start scoring, is pretty optimistic, after 3 months out. We need 2 new strikers t...

Re: Who would we like McMahon to bring in...
Well, they have got a young forward called Joe Ironside.
Scored 48 goals in 96 matches for Kidderminster, before joining the Macc, last summer.
Maybe he might fancy getting paid, every month, in the Beautiful South.....

Re: Club Statement/ Departures and Arrivals
Keeping Terry is a good decision. No comparison between him & Jody Brown, TH is a proven / successful assistant coach, and also it is correct to say, that keeping someone onboard who really "knows the club", and can pass that knowledge on, is a smart move. Another experienced coach in,...

Re: Jody Brown Post Match
Sad to hear that he has gone, I feel that he is a victim of Peter Taylor, in a way, as he clearly wasn't allowed much of his own input. Also a victim of the fact that the decision to fire Taylor, has been taken at least one month too late, which has led to DM having no real time to assess his coachi...

For me, he should be given a run in the team, as an out & out Left Winger, with an experienced Left Back behind him, in a 442.
If he had less defensive responsibility, with cover behind him, think he could really be part of the answer for us, at the other end.
What do we think ??

Re: Why ???
Thought the effort today was great, but as we know only too well by now, half of this team are just not good enough.
2 new strikers has to be the immediate focus.
Have got 2 weeks now to get them, before next league game.

Re: How lovely it was...
How lovely it was to see Terry Harris with a big smile on his face, and be outside the dugout with his little notebook and pen again. And how refreshing it was to hear him shout out encouraging things to the players during the game, and see him talk to Jody throughout the game. I really hope that t...
