Re: Ins and Outs
I can't quite get me head around what exactly is caused this awful dross this season, selling quite a large unit of players albeit some of them were not particularly firing full cylinders last season and long term injuries to a 'couple of stars' doesn't set a good ball rolling, but last season other...

Re: Burnett must go
Wayne comes over to most of us as a lovely guy who I'm pretty sure his intentions for this club are in good heart and future but I'm really not to sure he can turn it around now, just somehow feel players for some really puzzled reason can't sustain 90 minutes of decent play and keep hold of the tem...

Re: Bars in the ground
Done a TBS Combo S/T last season and out of 9 games in there (Didn't bother with one somewhere, prefer being with the lads in the sieve) I think only one game we had the side of the bar (Think it was Bury) and believe it or not went down there HT and could count the people on two hands who were buyi...

Re: Dugout
As usual waking into the ground 3.01 and plonking up on sieve that's the first thing my mate greeted me on, dugout change, could it be abuse? Remember a guy comments on here end of last season sitting behind our bench that it was going bad my home fans with the verbals to that direction. But you nev...

Re: York
Bit strange tomorrow seeing Femi again but in another shirt, sure he'll get a good reception that he deserves, never forgot that belter and only goal he scored for us way outfield whilst us daggers perched up on that horrible scaffolding of an away end v the Gills a couple seasons back. Use to love ...

Re: Russell Slade
You know its a real strange one coming up on that Tuesday (Oct 21st) away at Luton, what do we do here? I should imagine we're going to take a few fans over there by then and could become a bit of a midweek match this, what sort of reception? Mixed bag? I first game on to the daggers scene '07 and o...

Re: Russell Slade
A bit of a bolt out the blue, although like us one league below havn't exactly started the first 9 games that well. Pretty surprised quite a few O's fans seem to think its time he moved on and are not that shaken by it all. Just wondering if they're lining up James Beattie as its a bit strange what ...

Re: Next two games
I'd be very surprised also if we mustered a win at Accrington Stanley too, although the Daggers have shown some good patches of decent play at times feel, looking wisely at almost ten matches in now were a struggling side- full stop, confidence and ability to go out and win a game strongly has gone ...

Bubble match and boycott
Interesting to see tonight's big live tv conference game the so called 'bubble match' between Chester and Wrexham that many Wrexham fans are boycotting because they cant go to the game unless they go on the organised coach trips when buying their tickets and to leave at 17.45 for the 12 mile hike ov...

Re: Cheltenham Away
Before the game talking away to fellow daggers we'd nearly all agreed a point today we'd be happy but stressed minimum, but it bites hard to lead until what 3 minutes or so to the end and collapse and not hold on again. This wont go down as the most attractive game of the season by far a bit scrappy...

Re: Cheltenham Away
Our backs are really against the wall now and dare I say it can you imagine come 4.50 losing this one and a four on the trot loss ratio, heaven help us!, they've started well but its only four months back we had an end of season great win here that took us amazingly up to a final 9th on the last day...

Re: OT Scottish Referendum
In the end common sense prevailed and history, but whatever way you look at it Scotland won, they will get more clout from Westminster now and already have a different network than down South.

Re: Time to bring back Trumpet Boy!!
Its certainly getting very bleak down the sieve of late, and the lack of real excitement on the pitch and too much space about terracing sadly is making it more difficult to make our home a place of fear for the opposition, think the last time I felt it shone very brightly was the magnificent comeba...

Re: pompey
Very true, Jack Whatmough the No.3 for them was undoubtedly the M.O.M ,with him off the field couldn't we have taking the game so much further. Am I the only one for those old enough amongst us that he reminds me a lot of sweeper Colin Hendry especially playing in a blue shirt. Pompey forums comment...
