Re: Crowd tomorrow
The weather is going to be horrid, people can't buy cut price tickets on the gate and there won't be many away fans.
I'll be surprised if we get 3,000.

Re: Dave something.
I would agree with that, and have seen both interviewed, however I don't believe that they go looking for publicity in the way Fry/Hearn tend to, just are willing to speak when asked to.SUSSEX DAGGER wrote: Bill Kenwright or Dave Whelan are often worth listening to.

Re: Dave something.
I don't recall Dave Andrews being much for major interviews either.
I tell you what though, why don't you get Piers Morgan on it, Life Stories.
Or you could go buy him a beer in the clubhouse and have a chat.
I'm sure the programme shop would be very happy to take your collection though.

Re: Daggers V Southend
I am assuming we are looking at case 14 (bottom of the link) in which case it is onside? It won't be that one, as Hines played the ball forwards, not backwards. It's quite possible that Murphy was just offside from that pass - it would have been tight as there wasn't much space for him to be offsid...

Re: Crowd
Were you there? Did it feel like there were less in the home end than on the Saturday v Scunthorpe when there were apparently 1,500 home fans?
The Carling was pretty full (800), so that leaves us with just 500 in the rest of the ground.
Hmmmm!

The Post article says xrays showed its not a break and Howell is now having a scan.
Given Reading are paying D'Ath's wages, I can't see how we go wrong TBH.

No movement.
We remain rubbish at throw ins, and have been ever since the Danny Green chuck it long option was sold to Charlton. It' ought to be a pretty simple thing really.

He said that, but it doesn't make it the truth does it? Possibly he was avoiding tipping Southend off?dagger4eva wrote:Burnett has confirmed in the latest interview that the decision to drop doe was purely tactical.
