Re: Torquay Away

πŸ”΄πŸ”΅ Exactly one month since his iconic winner at Notts County, Inih Effiong produced more late heroics with almost the last kick of the game at 90+5 to secure a beautiful first win under Ben Strevens, at the expense of a dismal Torquay. πŸ’¬ π—₯π—˜π—£π—’π—₯𝗧 - https://dagnificent.weebly.com/match-reports/torquay-...

Re: Torquay Away

What a day. We've now come from behind to win three times in the past month compared to only once beforehand. Notwithstanding the remarkably poor opposition, we refused to feel sorry for ourselves and found a way despite what was a very poor performance otherwise devoid of opportunities. Buzzing for...

Re: Morias Gone

πŸ‘‹πŸ» So it's farewell to Junior Morias, whose workmanlike honesty was as endearing as the lethal spark on display throughout most of his spell. A seemingly unavoidable departure on our part but we can at least now get a head start on assembling next season's squad. β†ͺ️ https://dagnificent.weebly.com/da...

Re: Wrexham (H) Thread

The conditions would have to be perfect for us to beat them: we needed to produce a near-flawless performance in both boxes and receive some good fortune along the way, like at Notts. Unfortunately we lost our most solid defender to concussion then leading goalscorer and assist-maker in the warm up,...

Wrexham (H) Thread

Well and truly outclassed. Didn't expect much less, especially after Morias pulled out in the warm up.

Re: York

Fair play. Second consecutive Saturday we've overturned a deficit to win having only done so once all season beforehand. Nowhere near a good display today but the mini-spells we produced were enough to beat a limited side.

Re: Maidenhead

πŸ”΄πŸ”΅ Dagenham were unable to use the jubilation of Saturday as an upwards platform, instead plummeting back down to earth with a turgid performance of downgraded intensity far more reflective of their season.

Re: Maidenhead

Is anyone really surprised? Same coaching staff who backed McMahon’s woeful tactics and the same players that can’t execute. People got far too carried away after Saturday result, it was just that a result which you would get once in another 100 times if it was played like that again. It will only ...

πŸ”΄πŸ”΅ The post-McMahon era had a daunting conception but the renewed optimism around it manifested to an extraordinary extent, scarcely-believable rearguard heroics defining an astonishing smash-and-grab at league leaders Notts County! πŸ’¬ π—₯π—˜π—£π—’π—₯𝗧 - https://dagnificent.weebly.com/match-reports/notts-count...

Can't believe it. A mixture of complete shock and relief. Peculiar timing on the eve of a clash at rampant table-toppers Notts, which follows the kind of cycle-prolonging win that would usually by him more time, but no... Notts County (A) Thread

Into the jaws of death we go then: arguably the best squad in National League history, spearheaded by the best player in National League history, bulldozing towards a record points tally in National League history. They demolished us 5-0 in early September, since which we've lost Josh Walker while t...

Re: Scunthorpe Away Thread

πŸ”΄πŸ”΅ Whether an idea-bereft Daryl McMahon retained authority within the dressing room largely hinged upon them issuing a defiant response to his latest barbed condemnation, but what transpired instead made it clear there is no way back. πŸ’¬ π—₯π—˜π—£π—’π—₯𝗧 - https://dagnificent.weebly.com/match-reports/scunthorp...

Re: Aldershot Home Thread

Not a single person I know is going. I've never been closer to staying away myself because it's so tiresome.

After blaming the dressing room then lack of reinforcements in the past week, I wonder if it's the fans turn to be the reason for a defeat.

Re: Scunthorpe Away Thread

Another truly awful day following this football club. McMahon needed a defiant reaction after issuing his latest dressing room condemnation but instead got another dreadful performance to prove beyond all doubt that the players are not responding to him anymore. He cannot keep hammering them every w...
