Re: Missed chance to increase home crowd.

Gutted. You missed a cracker mate. Sounds like I did . Sounds like we have decided to be at least more attack minded at home, well thats the impression of the last two games. Question is when did it become a cracker from another wasted opportunity for the two additional points. Doubt it was when th...

Re: Rhys Murphy

Worrying thing for me is our inability to keep a clean sheet. We're certainly not going to outscore teams every week. Are we not? Maybe we will, we have some exciting attacking players. I'm all for the Keegan methodology of "as long as score one more than them, it's all good." Certainly m...

Re: Missed chance to increase home crowd.

Yesterday was the 4th home game in 23 days. The biggest gates were the first two home games , the second of which I saw people in a que to get out. Luckily Saturdays diabolical second half was away from home and the only people that may have persuaded to stay away yesterday was the small number in ...

Re: What next for Dagenham?

Peter Taylor, Steve McClaren, Ian Holloway, Alan Pardew, Mark McGhee, to name but a few. All managers and all absolutely shit at what they do. And yet some mug, will undoubtedly give them a job or they'll end up thieving a living doing some punditry somewhere, amazing stuff! All those managers have...

Re: John Still retires

I honestly believe the club should consider naming one of the stands after him.

Cheers John.

That's also my favourite celebration moment. I've never lost it so much at a football match, absolute chaos. Loved it.

Re: A Game Of Headers & Volleys Ep.36

That Rotherham game really did feel like closure. Although didn't come anywhere near being any sort of consultation required for the 01/02 team, it did give the fans an opportunity to "heal some wounds".

Loved it.

Re: PUB TEAM FROM ESSEX

Consider this, the club is around 10 days from POTENTIALLY hosting its final ever game at Victoria Road, at least in its current guise - 10 days !! Where is the big sell. Where is the big push, the plea, the promotions, the PR, the ANYTHING to get people to the game? We'll all be there for the open...

Re: Tamplin Watch

I'd like to think he'll calm down a bit with experience, but so far you have to say he's doing largely what he said he'd do. He is, but it's like someone saying they are going to run a marathon in under an hour. Looks ok for the first mile, but everyone can quire clearly see it's not sustainable.

Re: A Game Of Headers & Volleys Ep.19

Great stuff.

Vividly remember those 3 Grays games. Was a rollercoaster 10 days. The Trophy reply was also notable as the one and only time I have convinced the missus to come over Viccy Road.
