Re: Prediction v Morecambe

What with us coming off the back of an unbeaten weekend, I think the Daggers will roar into the 2nd round..maybe winning 2-0 with both the goals coming off Zavon Hines walking stick.

Re: How Many

...just can't believe for some reason why the players especially on paper for this level which don't look a bad set-up are not giving it all.. That reason is that the manager cannot motivate league two footballers. Motivating what you have got is part of a manager's role. There is no way Wayne Burn...

Re: A question for the "Wayne in-ners"

I really felt for Wayne when he found himself in a situation where Andre Boucaud and Kane Ferdinand were the only players available on the entire planet - and within our budget - to play a non-tackling centre midfield during the pre-season and the opening quarter of this season.

Re: Morecambe league game postponed

I do get it,my son more than me thesedays is a victim.I remain unmoved by the argument though. We all know football gets postponed for a lot of reasons and this happens on a regular basis. Its a risk you take. Weather, cup replays, etc - yep, I get it too..it is a risk you take. The club choosing to ...

Have a bit more confidence in them Joel, reckon we won't let Basildon score as many as 4 :D

Re: Manager vs Manager

Except if you Manage a small Club in the arse end of nowhere where the cost of living is a lot less then with a team on the outskirts of one of the dearest places to live on Gods earth. Don't know if you are aware but you get a better class of monkey for your peanuts in Accrington , Morecambe ,Newp...

Manager vs Manager

I've read some interesting comments in earlier threads, intimating that every single manager on the planet is identical, and that it is solely down to budgetary constraints as to where a club finishes. For me, this has given helpful clarity to some doubts that I had been having. Quite clearly those ...

Re: This Afternoon

Little trip to see Billericay v Chesham today I reckon..

With regards to the rugby, I tend to have to mute the intro to the ad breaks - as Paloma Faith sounds as if she is starting to vomit when warbling "the wooaaahheeld in uni hun".

With the " Bloke down the pub " continually posting " Nob " after meticulously searching out the latest posts from the " Arnu ", it got me curious as to what favourite Nob/Knobs folks may have.. For me, I very much like the " Hobnobs " especially when dunked i...

Re: Prediction v Luton & Redbridge

I think this is a nailed on 3-1 win for us..perhaps with all our goals coming from Chambers - Boucaud+Ferdinand cuddling in the centre-circle to keep warm. Burnett to then get another couple of contract extensions, complete with full ownership of the bogies currently located all over the gents loos....

Re: The morning after...

No credible suggestion for a replacement is a rubbish argument. It isn't down to supporters to come with alternative candidates - it's for the board. Although that is the same board that took the decision to give Wayne Burnett a 2 year contract extension - which is more than a little worrying.. :ro...
