Re: Barnet

Really impressed with the effort put in by all the team yesterday - like night & day compared to the previous two home games.

Still very light up front, but signs of encouragement - here's hoping we can back it up in the next match.

C'mon you Daggers :thumbu:

Re: Anyone seen Ben's aftermatch interview v Maidenhead ?

Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8liT8Z2uWM Seems pretty fair enough reasons why both teams didn't do an instant YouTube interview straightaway. Fronted up that it's not been good enough & a few updates on some of the players coming back from injuries.. That said, Ben's words & ...

Re: NL: Altrincham (A) 5 Aug 2023

A several thousand mile trip up north, with monsoon conditions on a pudding of a pitch would usually see us getting whacked 3 or 4 nil - I'll certainly take the 1-1..

Re: Fans Forum

Echo the above - thanks to the original chap for making the notes & for the notes being shared. The "I was on holiday" line used to parry the balls-up of the building works within the sieve is yet another example of why one sole single person shouldn't have the level of responsibility/...

Re: No Views From The Sieve

It definitely needs sorting - currently over 25% of the stadium has a restricted view!

Encouraging statement from the club, but a pretty stupid thing to have allowed to happen in the first place.. :thumbd:

Re: Southend United

It's not just the "club" up for sale though is it? It's the ground too - at a "bargain" price of £4.5m. If an individual - or a group of folks - had a few million, I just can't see the temptation of laying out that kind of sum..and then still having all the historic debts, the co...

I wish Manny well - decent player, particularly in his first spell with us.

Re: Justham Off to Southend?

According to a Southend ITK fan on twitter.. Kinda lost me a bit after that.. Lots of ifs & buts with them - if Southend get a new owner/funding they're bound to get players in. If they don't, they're bound to release a few. Not in anyway a fan of how the Daggers have been & continue to be ...

Re: That's More Like It

Thought it was a decent performance - played really well first half, defended pretty solidly in the second. On the day, we did make Boreham Wood look fairly ordinary - but they can't have played that way all season to be where they are..the same as we certainly haven't always played like that to be ...

Re: Gateshead

We were bang average when we had the higher earners at the club (they were all there for Dorking, Notts Co (H), Halifax, Oldham (A), Scunthorpe (A), etc..) - we are now less than bang average, with less bodies in the squad. Our current situation is a result of the past several years of error-strewn,...

Re: Torquay Away

Great comeback & top effort from the depleted numbers in the squad - alongside a cracking 11th hour winner..!! :thumbu: That said..it was achieved despite the past several years of financial mis-management from Steve Thompson, alongside the piddling down the drain of 3 years worth of budget from...

Re: York

Fair play for the win - decent bit of effort, especially after going behind..good to see Effiong & Morias linking up well too  That said, having that many players starting out of position is a result of the imbalanced & pretty average squad that has been accumulated by both Daryl McMa...

Re: Solihull Moors

Well pleased with the win :thumbu: Great that Effiong bagged a couple of great goals too! Not going to get too carried away after only a match & a bit from him...but hopefully if he can show that mixture of effort, strength & ability he'll be a welcome addition.. Goals from the game on YouTu...
