Re: New Signing

Give the guy a chance he was 17 years old when he played for them, we can make a controversy out of anything if we try.

Re: Todays Game

The football was fine,John seems to be doing well on his budget . The bars were running at about30% before and after the game, compared to how they were 2+years ago. The food in the ground , was bad ,under cooked chips and dried out burgers . The club looked as if it was dying .This club is being ...

Re: Last night's meeting

I'd be interested in how many members have a background in business. My gut feeling is that the board like having a small number of members who are largely not that business savvy so they are easier to convince.

Why are you not a member yourself and have a say in the process as you have no ...

Re: Last night's meeting

Ian c ......pardon? Len voted for tamplin and have no problem with that. If you look at what Len said it is most interesting. On two occasions Len has had to vote maybe reluctantly for a merger and tamplin because the alternative does not bear thinking about. Len if I have upset you or offended you ...

Re: Last night's meeting

I was a member in 92 and again was against any merger but as the alternative at the time was grim went along with it, however in hindsight we have not done too badly getting in the football league and then league 1 have we? Also I am not a mate of Steve Thompson.

Re: Last night's meeting

Hardly, I have been a supporter of the Daggers for more than 50 years of which most of those have been at non league level. At the start of this process I was very suspicious of the whole affair but have been to a few of the meetings and finding out a lot more information. I then made an informed ...

Re: Last night's meeting

Mike, with all due respect as you are not a member and not present last night you do not need to know as you are not able to vote.I repeat that more than 75% voted in favour so that is what counts at this stage.

Re: Last night's meeting

At the end of the day people have decided to save their money and rely on others to become members as that suited them until now as it seems an important vote has come up. To say that were not aware or the club should have promoted this more is utter nonsence.

If you were for staying as we were ...

Re: Last night's meeting

I would also add that more than 75% of those voting last night must have been satisfied with all the answers given and that there was plenty of time to ask any questions.

Re: Last night's meeting

I have been a member for many years and find it so contradictory that the people who want it to remain a member's club on the forum in the main could not be arsed to be members themselves but want to be involved now because a major decision has to be made. The other thing that I find annoying is ...

Re: Last night's meeting

I was at the meeting last night and would bet that your insider was most certainly an anti Tamplin voter. I say that because your article is most certainly slanted that way. I thought the meeting was well organised and run and gave the opportunity before the vote to ask lots of questions and for ...

Re: Johnny Hoof

That was a brilliant display from the team with some outstanding performances from a number of players. A few years ago Dwight Gayle made his debut for the Daggers and immediately looked a special talent, having seen Corey Whitely at Woking last week and again in the game yesterday I would say this ...

It's always worked for me in the past and yes there will be a choice as to which way to vote.
