Re: The ultimate "MUST WIN" game

How many more of the games are we going to have then?

It's a disgrace what is happening, yet the powers that be don't seem to care. Dare I ask why do we?

Re: Paris

I'll thrown my hat into the mire. First off, we need to understand and also realise that these barbaric acts are just that, acts of barbarism, nothing else. What they are not, is an act done upon the behalf of a religion. These acts have, and rightly so, been condemned by people of all faiths and ba...

Re: Which One Change to Football Would You Introduce

The referee deserves more respect, therefore the only person to talk to the ref will be the one donning the armband.

Re: Consistency of selection

At times I do wonder if there is someone placing fierce pressure on Burnett with his team selection. It does seem as if that he's not the only person involved and he's taken the advice (perhaps not favorably) of some one else?

Re: Amazing

I wasn't able to make the game, but from looking at the highlights it seems that we were under the cosh for most of the game? Of course it's hard to be sure of this from only looking at the highlights. The goal itself may have been somewhat fortunate, yet that shouldn't take away from the grit and d...

Re: Bottom 8

Howell left because he was offered a reduced contract. Just after having a baby, nice touch. I knew he had a young family, but didn't know we offered him a reduced contract. If that is the case then that is nothing more then a smack in the face. Thought we prided ourselves on being a family club, no?

Re: Bottom 8

I do see your point, yet the season is barely two weeks old and we've played two of the better teams in the league. Yes our performance was lacking in both, yet with the summer we've had loosing our best players, it will take unfortunately time for the team to settle in. We also had a game against h...

That really is cracking news. Let's hope he can sure up the defence and get us playing from the back properly.

Our squad is desperately small, so just to add some flesh to the bones and offer some competition is fine by me.

Re: Kane Ferdinand

Would like to see Doidge but only if he plays in a two man attack... Showed a couple of times last season that he's wasted without a partner... Did well at Palace with McClean alongside him Have we got the French youngster signed up yet at the back? As far as I can tell we have, he's posted a photo...

Re: Signings

For those at the games how did Ferdinand fare?

I was able to see Richards against Dulwich, I thought he fared well there. If we do manage to sign both these I'd be quite pleased.

From what we've seen who can be step up to the plate? Not sure Nosworthy will be playing enough to warrent the armband.

Re: Luke Howell

How did... what.....

If we're loosing out on snigatures to the likes of (with the greatest respect) Boreham Wood that, then does worry me for our season.
