Re: rest of the season - predictions
Given up making any predictions daggers4eva on a game to game basis. Confident that we can maintain our current position and the average of 1.39 points per game which will see us finish with 66 points. One thing I am certain of however is the points wont come in the games we expect and a lot of our ...

Re: Get in!!!
By all accounts Dickson had a Marvin Morgan v Orient moment, missing an open goal from 3 yards. Thankfully it didnt cost us in the same manner today!! My first thought today was... How your luck can change higher up the table... Last season that miss ends with a one all draw That was not the worst ...

Re: Get in!!!
Well that was a game of two halves. First we were not at the races in defence Wilko was all over the place and if if was not fpr a wonder save by Lewey amd the miss of the seaaon then they would have been two up in ten minutes. Never looked a threat first half and of it was not for Lawson and Abs we...

Financial Cheating
Just listened to Rochdales Manager Keith Hill. Made some interesting comments about some of the unsustainable money being splashed about by teams in our League. He appears to share views that I have long held and cheating is a word he has used repeatedly during the interview. Through our financial p...

Re: Wayne Interview
Thanks Matt would have missed that if you had not put it up. Great interview and brings a few things back to reality. As fans some of us have all got a bit carried away, after listening to that what a Manager we have. Well done to the Board as well who unlike some of us fans remain realistic and app...

Re: Playoffs
There is a few more then 12 to play Nick. Whatever we get it wont be enough. We have chucked away any hope we had with some desperate defending. Last three games all at home we have acquired 2 points. Cut out the stupid mistakes that would have been 7. There has been plenty of other instances during...

Re: Shrimpys view
Good game and draw was right on the night , both sides seemed to agree on the that Southend always looked a threat but at the seasons end I firmly believe that results like last night will mean that both sides will be playing each other next year. When we played you earlier in the season I think I c...

Re: Daggers V Southend
Well that's the only conclusion I could come up with as you are correct when Zav delivered the pass Murphy was behind the ball and therefore could not be offside.

Re: Luke Norris...
I wonder if theres any chance we could sign him permanently.A goal a game so far, definately a poacher we could do with. He has the best scoring average in the league Arnu by a country mile. 8 goals in 13 games and not against rubbish either. May have had a chance if we had kept him a secret but sta...

Re: Daggers V Southend
[quote="Dagdale"]Lived up to what most of us thought pre-match a pretty exciting game, make no mistake Southend are a pretty good outfit especially as the seasons matured, tonight they won so much in the air and it gave our side a big challenge which gladly I'm proud of our team on how wel...

Re: Time For Action Football League
Another postponement tonight at Newport. The rights and wrongs of weather excessive use causes half of their problems is a matter of opinion. Just hope that hard pressed supporters bear this in mind and booking advance cheap travel for March 19th may not be the best idea given the current situation.

Re: Saturday v Scunthorpe
After equalising we were doing all we could to give them back the lead. Not complaining he blew when he did.
Game over we got out of jail and we want to sign that puddle up killed the ball instantly for Norris to finish.

Im sure he kicked the advertising hoarding as he went off.It was right him and medy went off they were doing not a lot really were they. He did Arnu it rang round a very quiet sombre Stadium and met with a response from the Scunny fans. Just was not happening for him Saturday but then he never had ...

Re: Time For Action Football League
You are correct, but it surely cant help that the pitch has no time to recover and hence the reason why it gets waterlogged so easy. Even on a dry pitch the condition of it remains one of concern owing to the damage done to it. Simply not fair to expect any team to go there and attempt to play in a ...

Time For Action Football League
Last week a number of our fans and our team set out on a pointless trip to South Wales. Can not believe that whilst watching Sky Sports News tonight they were playing egg chasing on the same pitch today causing untold damage to the playing surface. Looking at the state of it I would not be surprised...
