Re: Press coverage
"It was hard to shake the feeling that Dagenham’s victory sucked the last remaining hint of romance from the competition." seems a bit harsh. Very harsh, would say that neither of the TV companies picking up Eastelighs game for coverage has got rid of the romance more than Dagenham actual...

Re: The ultimate "MUST WIN" game
TV fees depend on the game being chosen for extended highlights/live (unlikely if its us TBH): Live £144,000, Live replay: £72,000 Highlights: £6,750 Looks like only possible highlights money for who ever gets through The BBC's FA Cup third-round coverage will include live television coverage of Ex...

Re: For anyone that has a rosy glow at the moment...
Seems like someone was upset they missed Curetons wonder goal. Something that Boris Becker will no doubt be talking to Djokovic about.DI Mike Dashwood wrote:Jesus, I thought we may have a day of respite after a win!!!

Re: Why?
Why did it take so long for a change in the first place. All that side played the full game at Morecambe and after a decent first half the tempo yes the team played with a decent tempo started to slip, really think a couple of changes were needed on the hour mark or soon after, not as late as they w...

Re: Awful
Poor stuff (and that of course is being kind) Do wonder if some of these players realise that they are playing for a future in the pro game (or at least a decent wage at league 2) for when we get relegated. Only seems to be Dunne, a loanee frozen out at another club, that has it in his mind to go ou...

Re: Morecambe
Didn't think it too bad a game although it felt more like a league game than any romance of the cup or all that stuff. Think we finally, in November, have our centre midfield pairing that works. Morecambes best chance came when play had near enough stopped from both sides for a blatant handball that...

Did the 'legends' who were on the pitch at half time even things up at all?

Re: Glen Hoddle
Your point being? Hoddle has done an awful lot in football, still speaks absolute nonsense. Michael Owen similar with a long list of achievements, still doesn't make his analysis any good.bloke down the pub wrote:We all know what Glen has done in football, What have you done ?

Re: Newport
Poor that. First 10 minutes looked to attack with pace and get at them, could even have scored after 30 seconds. Then the rest of the half seemed to drift by. Second half never really got going until the last 15 minutes and yes on another day one of those chances would be in and there would be a hom...

(pointless) Stat question
Problem one for the Opta people but sure someone on here will know. Is the age difference between Cureton & Jones the biggest Dagenham have had between 2 goal scorers in the same game? If so any idea what the biggest gap before was?

Re: West Ham announcement
We don't have a deal with West Ham we are not allowed to play at home the same time as them, same for Orient. Police make the rules. All sort of right but the following (old) article gives a insight into how it works and the requests made by some clubs. Presume we will still be paired with them aft...

Re: Good point. Good performance. Good atmosphere
Thought it a decent enough performance last night. Cureton surely had the most chances he's had in a match and couldn't finish. Also his first touch wasn't great. Until he got sent off Benson seems to have improved his touch greatly. Luton readjusted 2nd half and tried to force our play out wide kno...

The Bookies seem pretty certain we're safe as they're not even offering odds anymore on it
