I agree with DTD on all these points.Diggerthedog wrote:Think he will be a big miss, very versatile player that never let any one down in the several positions he was asked to play with all our injuries. Thought he performed better at times than some that have stayed.
Good luck Josh.

Re: Best ground?
My feeling was its based on the overall experience including the facilities, food quality, atmosphere and cost so I don't really see how FGR are that high up either.

Re: The list.
We've got a good spine to build around, at least we're in better shape going into the summer than 12 months ago. I'm confident Still can find the right recruitments to give us a chance next season.

Re: New signings? Renewed contracts? Released list?
Morgan ferrier is transfer listed with a few more decent boreham players leaving aswel but they'll want quite a bit for him, but if Benson goes I reckon we could do with signing another striker.

Doey must have made him look even better than we thought he did. ;)BarkingRambo wrote:Obileye transfer listed by Eastleigh. He was an odd one, had an amazing first loan spell, an alright but not as great second and wasnt that great against us. Seems to be on the decline.

Re: Changes to the National League
Getting a team into the FL should be tough, thus emphasising the achievement of doing it. The only way I'd have 3 up is by having a play off game between the 22nd team in L2 and 3rd in conference like in Scotland.

Re: Changes to the National League
It also affects the rest of the league, there will probably be a team nailed on to finish 4th with 4/5 games left, they will field weakened sides every week. It'd annoy managers of teams trying to stay up seeing a rival play against a team that's not interested in trying.

Re: Bingham
I would like to see JS try 3 in midfield next year if we sign a player with Binghams qualities, I'd play them alongside Robinson or Howell and Boucaud in front of Doe, Robson and Pennell with wing backs unless we lose our current ones. If we do, revert to 4-3-3 Pennell at LB

Re: Ebbsfleet Promoted, Halifax Promoted
With the risk of upsetting people, I don't really mind the whole "money team" aspect as the people throwing the money down a possibly never ending blackhole aren't doing it for financial gain like in the prem (although that too is pretty much a fools errand) they must have some sort of af...

Re: FGR Away Second Leg (1-1) Match Thread
We will need our best to stay fit and hold on to virtually all of our best XI. And obviously we've got to make a few signings mainly a decent RW.Paul from Barking wrote: Will we be good enough next year?
