Re: Saturday v Scunthorpe

Doubt if were ever see a game like that again, slaughtered for almost an hour, mega substitutions by Wayne that changed the game, Rhys going ballistic walking to the tunnel (Be interesting the next few days) Two brilliant goals taken by Abu and Dickson, lightening, rain, gales, puddles temporary aba...

Re: Murphy Gone

Seeing as Zav has been off it a bit recently. Would anyone argue if we left him on the bench and brought him on as a sub after say 60 mins? Not on Tuesday, but maybe after that. Zav has not had a good month but surely Elitto should be dumped before him. Really has been a fav of mine but even I ques...

Re: Louis Dennis

Every Striker recruited under the old regime has now gone. Taken nearly a year to clear the decks but we saw last season it was something that clearly needed to be done as simply they were just not good enough. Obviously Wayne does not fancy him in the revised style and I think the right decision ha...

Re: Murphy Gone

Nice to see someone not just jump on the first train outta here!! Why would he travel Second Class. Whoever is advising him take a bow. Peterborough make a bid that is accepted by the Club. The Player talks to Peterborough and says the move is not for him. He returns to the Daggers in a fanfare of ...

Re: Murphy Gone

Get in there.... utterly fantastic news!!! Right, now Saturday it IS down to us supporters to be loud, vocal and show and prove to Rhys that he made the right decision, and just how much we value and support the rest of the team too. Well done Rhys - to turn down peterborough and their grubby money...

Re: There has to be something going on

Popped in the clubhouse last night and the toilets are being completely refurbished. Looking very flashy indeed!! Pair that with the fact our top scorer has told Peterborough where to go and you have to wonder what the hell is going on! Maybe West Ham will come in for Zavon and he will also give th...

Re: But for how long??????

I hope this means we will keep hold of him til the end of the season. The proviso is in the statement that if another club comes in for him, he will be allowed to talk to them. Fingers crossed they don't!!! Could be case that like some of our supporters he thinks he is worth more then Peterborough ...

Re: Daggers sign a striker.

Can't see him as a replacement for Rhys....hardly proven at 20!! This is the sort of player we should have in the squad to develop. Why are we persisting with loan signings when we need a permanent replacement???? 6 goals in 10 games "at this level "whilst on loan at Northampton. Better a...

Re: With or without Rhys

Think that it all depends what you see as progress though lion . If our season was to end tamely and we finish around just below mid-table I would still consider that to be a massive improvement. Some will obviously be bitterly disappointed, I understand that but when everything is put into perspect...

Re: With or without Rhys

Sussex, I was talking about since Dec 1st, even if I made a cock up on the 10 men reference! I appreciate that you see more away games than I do, but who was it that Portsmoth did beat in your quoted 14 match analysis? I also thought that early on this season, I was watching the best Daggers team t...

Re: With or without Rhys

Dear oh dear oh dear, Before Rhys Murphy put on a Daggers shirt how many of the gloom mongers honestly thought we would get much out of the next three games. When the fixtures came out I thought we would do well to get three or four points in January our record against Wimbledon not being good . The...

Re: posh

In August I left Dulwich Hamlet utterly convinced we were going down. Just saw those conscientious objectors of a Strike force that somehow kept us up last season fail for the countless occasion. A strike force that was dumped on the new Manager, none of who were of his choosing. The Manager was sla...
