Re: Stevenage on Boxing Day
We may be a 'team of midgets' but alarming to me yesterday was none of our 'wingers' or players was using the wings to progress for a decent chance to centre field on attack, Porter coming on raised it a bit, even switching sides but rattles me that Stevenage were easily there for the taking and I k...

Re: Bring on the daggers
Wondered when we would hear from you again Schrimpy so close to this fixture, I should imagine you are looking forward to this match now in our present state of play, we're well to put it as honestly as possible quite shit at present and we're looking down a trapdoor but our loyal fans will show up ...

Re: Mistakes
Good post lee, but I'd say most mistakes were made shortly after we arrived at the end of last season's 9th League finish, a large slice of our team was ripped apart whether contracts were up or not and losing Medy who really was a great bonus to us last season was an almighty blow, then we arrived ...

Stevenage on Boxing Day
Concerned here that were playing a side with a bad run lately away from home, they're going to get off the mark again knowing our luck! and with our last two going quite shocking think we're be in for another tough ride, if we do, surely 13 defeats and who knows a loss at Schrimpers Sunday would be ...

Re: Does anyone else think it's time to show our anger again
I know from reliable sources the club does care about every fan who spends supporting the daggers and you've got to hand it to them when they dropped S/T prices which at the time we were all very happy about and quite a few joined up they too didn't know that the season wasn't planned for such a str...

Re: Plymouth thread
Just got in, so that's a 50 hour hardly a shut eye in all that time (coaches!) of hate to say it an awful weekend, pending one or two things better which I'll bring in in a moment. Absolutely at loggerheads now why our boys are not playing for so many games with no fire in their bellies and heart. T...

Re: Plymouth thread
Just about to leave megabus 23.30 Victoria and hope that Kerry's Cross Weatherspoon still opens at 6 am? Come on lads give us a great Xmas 2-1 would be fine! But were really on pressure here as the Pilgrims are especially pretty decent side at home, and Rueben Reid always seems to play well against ...

Re: Stevenage 's Ticket Allocation
I don't live far from their manor and obviously being Boxing day like me have to use a car or any motorway stuff, or manage to wangle to Cockfosters tube or some other to get in as no trains, so although 30 odd miles or so a bit of a drawback for quite a few on Boxing day, so probably agree that'd t...

Re: Tranmere
That game yesterday was an almost identical shit affair as of Southport down at the Vic just over a month back, no utter urgency to win this match at all, beats me why? It should have been there for the taking, and fair play to Max Power (Surely a name that terrace folk can sing a good song or two t...

Re: Porter
Tell you what at Portsmouth away first half he had a terrific 1st half down that right wing and was causing their defence all sorts of problems and well taking in by what a display it was, if it wasn't for how outstanding the blond lad Jack Whatmough was for them we would have had it dusted by the o...

Re: Cowboy hat mystery
That was the guy I was thinking of daggersjeff, so if its behind goal of Bury Road terrace that's completely beaten me? because I walk past that area every home spot on 3 and have never seen a guy with that sort of headgear, and as there's normally a non packed terrace there think it would be someth...

Re: Cowboy hat mystery
If its the guy I'm thinking of would say its more of like an outback hat, greenish and definitely something you notice, a good daggers supporter and originally from the North West I believe, seen him away quite a bit and in the club.

Re: AwayDays
Been to far better grounds, but its always nice to have a bit of rivalry between us and them as long as it keeps in good light. Stanchions are a pain in the arse there though and why can't they do us all a favour like we do to them and give us there best stand! Its awfully tight in them rows and ste...

Re: Interest in Burnett
Take my word Wayne will turn out a really good manager, every coach out there makes or drops a clanger here and there its always going at this level to be a bit experimental and a learning process, I love his determination to put it right and he will succeed and hopefully with the D & R.
