Re: Fans Forum Thursday 3rd October 2019

Mike i was there last night and was standing up and from my view there was a solid applause for what Peter said to Russell but i would not say it was the majority of people if you can prove it was the majority then i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong. but i guess you can't prove it. You are...

Re: Fans Forum Thursday 3rd October 2019

Because he explained his thinking on all matters asked without hiding and was very honest in his comments and assessments. I would imagine that honesty translates to the players. Just one reason they seem a tight group Also I dont think he has favourites and though he said he sometimes hears the cr...

Re: Fans Forum Thursday 3rd October 2019

Good meeting last night. The Dave Andrews Suite was standing room only, I'd guess 200+ people there. Takeaways from the session: - Peter Taylor knows what he's doing. He answered all questions asked of him fully, sensibly and with a lot of humour. We are still aiming at least for the playoffs. He kn...

Re: Bury

Football is a business, right up to when clubs run out of money then suddenly they aren't, they are "the beating heart of the town" or similar. If they are a business, then if they can't pay their bills they should go bust same as the local corner shop. Which isn't to say that I'd be happy if our cl...

Re: Peter Freund interview (Part 1)

Great work Keane.

Interesting that you can get a one to one interview with Peter Freund and negative Ned of the B&D Post was claiming it was all too hard to organise last season! ;)

Re: Bury

I would like to see a proper salary cap as a percentage of real turnover, rules against hoarding players, a more comprehensive fit and proper test, and more TV money solidarity payments to the lower leagues. The NFL and similar seem to have a better idea of how to keep it fair. The NFL is a closed ...

Re: Missed chance to increase home crowd.

Looking at the replies we will never know if it would have increased the crowd or not but how hard is it for our club to try it and see how it turns out. There are going to be other weekends and now that the Premier league have a two week break over Xmas what`s holding them back trying it then. Ori...

Re: Matchday Hospitality & Clubhouse

I agree that the beer could be a lot better. Can't comment on the wine, its not my match day drink of choice. Actually the draft bitter in the upstairs bar last Tuesday was pretty good (Old Speckled Hen) but suffered from the usual issues of having to battle to actually pull a pint that all the hand...

Re: Taylor out !!

Seriously, why cant people discuss this very relevant topic? Seriously, why can't people get their heads round the fact Taylor is the manager for now at least and get behind him and the team? We are three games in, we have what 75% of a new team, and already the abuse of certain players and the man...

Re: Taylor out !!

He’s dined out enough now off the back of that England game. The man is clueless. http://www.fansfocus.net/dagenhamandredbridge/images/20198131111599.jpg Here is Peter Taylor's managerial record to date. How does it compare to yours and the pup's? Opinions are like arseholes and all that. The point...
