Re: KSI purchases the club
Who??
I'm 56 on Saturday and I know who he is!! (Do have three sons which helps 😁). He'll certainly raise the profile of the club, and I don't say he's got unlimited funds but he'll have a few quid.
I’ve just been updated on him by one of my sons, think it’s an age thing!
My birthday as ...

Re: Totton (h))
The loaning of Scott is baffling especially considering that absolute bag of brown stuff that was served up today. How he can't get in that team is equally baffling.

Re: Bath City (h)
Yep a fairly ugly win. No real control of the game at any point really, but goal out of nowhere really with one moment of quality wins it. Had Bath had any cutting edge they might well of won. On a positive note other than the actual three points I thought Haigh was good, as was Young when he came ...

Re: Horsham (a)
Didn't see the game, but quelle surprise to see us failing to see out another game when a goal up and concede deep into added time. A missed opportunity with all the teams above us losing. And that my friends is why we will not trouble the playoffs.

Re: Chippenham Town (h)
I thought Chippenham started well and pretty much deserved their lead and were also denied what looked a pen right in front of me. As said the signings looked decent and we might well have won the game without the sending off but it obviously helped. I don't think 4-2 was flattering at all and in ...

Re: Macauley Bonne
This guy's career has fallen off a cliff. There may be other reasons other than he's just lost it but nevertheless off a cliff his career has fallen! Just can't see it working.

Re: Dover(h)
I don't know if the time it took for someone to post on this and the subsequent lack of contributions reflects apathy (suspect so), but yes much improved as you say Len. It's frustrating we're so inconsistent. I think will continue to see this as we play out the remainder of the campaign in mid-table.

Re: Hemel (A)
What was the ruling for Caroll? Pushed back to a later date or a decision handed down? I can’t find anything recent online except he was to be in court 30 December.
No ruling yet as it’s merely been delayed. In my opinion it’s good news. As if they thought he was a threat to the person ...

Re: Chelmsford
What a great result. Chelmsford certainly inconsistent but won 4-0 away last time out after a string of defeats, and they beat Hornchurch 2-0 at home. Really encouraging to see players stepping up in the absence of Carroll.

Re: Chesham [h]
It was frustrating we didn't put the game away after a really bright start to the second half and then we once again became quite passive, and when they equalised (despite not really creating much) I wasn't surprised. But fair enough a great response and got the job done. Tactics seem to be ...

Re: Maidenhead [h]
Maidenhead are possibly the worst team I've seen at VR this season, albeit we always look vulnerable from a cross across our six yard area. However, I think we played alright today and were worthy of the win, and actually managed the game out quite comfortably. Whisper it, but perhaps we're making ...

Re: Farnborough [h]
A shocking game which only really resulted in one chance in the whole game which was a glaring miss from the opposition. Arguably we were the team on the front foot second half but we created zilch. Another truly horrible home performance.

Re: Chippenham Town [a]
Three clean sheets on the spin on the road - don't know how lucky that is,as I've not seen the games, but judging by how many goals we give up at home it's still mystifying.

Re: Horsham [ h]
I think tonight was even worse than the 5-2 loss to Worthing. We were just SO bad. That long diagonal to Carroll as others have said is a plan if we have runners picking up on it as we did in the second half on Saturday. But tonight nothing, and our defending was downright comical at times albeit ...
