Re: Chesham [h]

Absolutely not killing the young goalkeeper, especially after a win, but seen a few people on social media complain about us letting in an inevitable equaliser when ahead once again... but you can't account for a decision like the one that led to their goal. The ball was never there to be won

Did ...

We appear to now also be the game that lead to the opposition manager resigning from the club...

Re: Farnborough [h]

Farnborough are a much better side than Chippenham, if we cough up the chances we gave the Chips it will only end one way.

This... I fear a win relates not on our performance but whether the opposition are clinical or miss a huge amount of opportunities (that they will get).

New guy may be a ...

Re: Chippenham Town [a]

Would love to hear a review of someone at the game... Friend suggested we were uphill and against the wind second half so did well to win but the first half sounded brutal despite the goal.

Can only take the win as it came today

Re: Spalding United Away

A new low for this already imploding club... Out at a point in the cup we weren't even included in last season! Didn't even get to a round where the National League clubs entered.

I genuinely had to Google where and what division Spalding were from when the draw was made

Re: Spalding United Away

Genuinely interesting game as Bedford, although in an equivalent League to us were on a terrible of form like we were... This is a lower league team but one who have been performing well in the league and will no doubt think they can turn us over at Home.

On a semi serious note, Spalding (in their ...

Re: Injury Update

Could we possibly look at the loan market for a new manager too? I don't have much confidence in the current one..

With the uncertainty about the ownership of the club, not sure it would also be a good time to appoint a new manager.

We see you Wayne... all the best for the weekend's match ...

Re: Dorking (A)

just seen the highlights (go to 1 mins 20 sec), running through clear on goal for us, what a complete and utter mess he made of it. Someone who can run fast but cannot play football, reminded me of Adam Gemili.

Just a complete lack of confidence... Was going to say a poor first touch but he ...

Re: When do we get to see the New Owners?

Simply playing Devil's Advocate with the owners as I am no fan myself, but in terms of the start to the season, even with their limited Non League football knowledge I'm not certain how much of the last couple of months is on them... It is obvious that we have given the new manager backing to bring ...

Re: FA Cup

We all know what happened then but I was just pointing out that if we lost to Bedford would it be a disaster as we could then concentrate on the league which is more our bread and butter.
In an ideal world you can do well in both competitions but we don’t want a repeat of last season and get ...

Re: Dover (a) 2-2

I didn't go to the game and of course it was stupid of the player concerned to get himself sent off in such circumstances but to get at least a point with a late equaliser seems a decent result especially the way we have been playing recently.

Re: Dover (a) 2-2

To play most of the game with ten men and come away with a point seems a decent outcome.

Aware you're always very positive on here Len, as seen by the constant comments at the end of last season to anyone who predicted us to go down with five games left in the season, but this one seems daft ...

Re: Dover (a) 2-2

Would point out as well that Dover came up against us yesterday having lost two in a row and were behind after 2 minutes... If any scenario was set up perfectly for us to stick a proverbial foot on someone's neck it was last night.

Where does this theoretical situation come from where we take a ...

Re: Dover (a) 2-2

I presume DTD your comment was being mischievous rather than serious? We are 2 points above the bottom 4 teams and 4 points blow the play off positions with 39 matches to play. Dover would have been in 5th position if they had won tonight. We have not the best of starts but it is early days. A win ...
