Re: Altrincham

No idea if we can keep hold of him next season, but what a find on the goalkeeping front these past few weeks... Liked Jones and his injury was unfortunate, but some of the game changing/ saving stops from Turner have been immense. On the other hand, I appreciate it was all speculation, but earlier ...

Club Statement on Social Media - 250425

Apologies for my possible ignorance all, but what does the Club Statement released on Facebook in the last few minutes intend to do in terms of bringing the issues with the (short term) new investors to a close? The club starts the statement saying they 'want to address this directly and clearly' th...

Re: The AGM Cup

It looks like, baring a miracle, the only way we could stay up is via the ‘AGM Cup’, where due to one of the clubs in our league being a basket case or not having a ground up to standard or not looking like they will complete next season, they get thrown out or relegated, and a club or two in the r...

Re: Hes gone hes gone hes gone

Even before the announcement that Serry had come to the club, Salma and Serry's fans were posting racist, homophobic, sexist and antisemitic abuse to our fans and telling us to 'get out of the club'. This intensified once it was announced it had joined the club. After the club statement on Wednesda...

Re: Hes gone hes gone hes gone

I'm the least religious person you will find, but some of the anti Jewish commentary about the club, and specific individuals who attended on Wednesday (almost all in Arabic on social media) is on the border of being dangerous in the way in it written. The club has to publicly accept at some point i...

No idea what the atmosphere may be like at the game tomorrow, but I'm staying well clear after the last 12 hours.

Re: Could there be a split?

Waiting for the usual suspects to come on here this morning and tell us there are still 12 points to play for, were not going down and any team can go on a four game winning run... Just like I've read and heard for the past two months

Re: Tuesday night games

Looking at other teams picking up points it does seem difficult to see us getting out of being relegated however, while we still have a chance of staying up the hope is still there. Our next two home games seem crucial at the moment and hopefully Dion will be available for these games so will see w...

Re: Must be nailed on now

We can all suggest that the league remains 'in our own hands' and pull up various suggestions as to why that is or isn't the case... The reality (especially after a couple of games unbeaten) is that anything less than a win Saturday and we are toast. There will be no getting back out from a Home def...

Re: We Won!

Obviously very welcome. Had we not I think that would have it...it's still gonna be difficult as Boston seem to be flying at the right time..I see it as a 4 way battle with them, Maidenhead and Fylde, as I think Wealdstone will pull clear. N.B there is an interview with Young on BBC Radio London th...

First and hopefully not the last although it’s far too late to save our season, wondering now how many of his s4it signings will go with him.
Where has this been confirmed? Trying to find details online.

Re: Tamworth

I try to not often get frustrated with our own fan base, especially online... But what are we discussing here about abuse of the team last weekend? Seriously?? Are we supposed to sit online or on social media and vocalise how poor we are, that we haven't since new year's day and are going down to th...

Re: Must be nailed on now

Over the remaining fixtures, many of them including ours, involve games between struggling teams so they will be taking points off each other. These will then be classed as six pointers so they will be even more important to win. This I’m sure will be uppermost in each teams mind. I would be happy ...

Re: Must be nailed on now

Boston won 3-0 tonight... We've absolutely had it... I don't see how there is any suggestion otherwise. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the only games we win between now and the end of the season are Ebbsfleet and Maidenhead... Even these will be a struggle with no real goal threat currently. You...
