Re: Aveley friendly
One definitely confirmed is Bivesh Gurung, a defensive midfielder who was at Maidstone. They offered him a new deal and he seems relatively well rated by their fans.
One may be Rashawn Scott from Bishop Stortford. Certainly looks spitting image of him, and the bench were calling him Shaun ...

Re: Aveley friendly
If anyone thought last season was a low point for the team, this is a wake up in the first 60 today... 3-0 down and out muscled or out run to a man so far.
Keep hold of the number 4 on trial and find a way to use the giant number 3 in defense
If we start a competitive game with NGuessan and ...

Re: Ben Nightingale
Keep the number one on his toes... Definitely a solid signing for this level, especially for a team that traditionally hasn't been super solid with back up keepers

Re: Aveley friendly
Haven't looked in to it too much as was placing on making an attendance decision last minute... But assuming this is a pay at the door kind of game?
No idea if there are areas to park near the ground if the main car park is full... Has anyone been to Aveley previously?
Also pay on the gate ...

Re: Season ticket prices
Easy to say as someone who didn't have a season ticket last year, but I am looking forward to some of the Away days more than a weekly or fortnightly trip to watch the Home matches...
Hopefully a trip to Aveley Friday and a competitive start to the pre-season may change my opinion on the team but I ...

Re: Ashley Hemmings
He has now announced his departure from Kidderminster, so must be a done deal. Experienced player, stays fit, scores goals, it’s what we need. Gives us a solid captaincy option that we desperately needed too, after Phippsy and Hill left.
Decent signing if we do get him... Hopefully announcing ...

Re: George Marsh signs
Seems a good signing for our new level, still one who is a bit of a risk. Need to start signing some proven quality for the level who don’t have injury concerns.
Fasinated to see who chooses us as a first choice option... Sounds like several other targets we have lost already to relatively ...

Re: Ashley Hemmings
Could be wrong but. Kidderminster want 10k for ashley hemmings to go to daggers and Jason adigun going to Kidderminster on a swap deal
If the manager has seen him train and doesn't fancy him then so be it, but I thought Adigun would be exactly the type of player we would want this season after ...

Re: Conor Lawless extension
Huge 'if' though isn't it. He's barely been fit for 2 years. I like him but we can't rely on him.
This is my only worry this season with the new stroker and Maghoma... How many players can we afford to pay ages to with a likely reduced budget that we can't get 20+ games out of?
Keep the boy ...

Re: Hills Gone
With regard to Lawless I believe there is a good player there but in the two seasons he has been with us his injuries have meant he has missed so many games.
I imagine the contract offer that we have made him would not be that lucrative and would reflect his injury record.
It is a gamble and only ...

Re: Nathan Harvey Departs
Interesting where we go with a backup keeper this year as the way the new signing was confirmed recently I can't see how we bring anyone else in that isn't clearly a second choice.

Re: Hills Gone
No surprise at all, but still sad to see both he and Phipps leave... Any idea where he may be going? Would have to suggest, like HP that a move has already been secured.
Apparently he could be going to Aldershot
Found something on an Aldershot Forum suggesting they thought he was off to ...
