The website is an embarrassment. It’s not designed with a reader in mind, it looks like it’s designed simply for Google hits.
As for the statement on the recruitment, I couldn’t agree more with Merge. Utter piffle.

Re: Braintree Town
That wasn't football a hybrid between hoofball and rugby, but football na, no way.
Club bollocks or whatever they're called need to come clean and say just what their true agenda is. Run the club into the ground, go out of business altogether and sell to a developer maybe, but football most ...

Re: Anyone got a link
I’m pretty close to lost for words at what has happened to our club. The new ownership group appear to be incapable of running a bath. Is Peter Freund still on the board?
Underdog has been a disaster from the start and we need them to look to pass the club on to somebody else in the summer.

Re: Southend
Do not come to many games any more, as it’s been so miserable that it doesn’t warrant the journey any more, coupled with the kids’ sporting commitments.
However, what worries me is that I have genuinely no idea what the new owners’ plan is. The club seems completely rudderless.

Strevolution update:
13 games, 13 points.
At what point do we declare it a Strevlegation Battle?

Re: Bye Paul McCallum
I’ve seen on Twitter that we are going from Walker and McCallum to Effiong and Faal from Havant, which is what Barnet did in 20/21.
It all smacks of giving up on promotion, cutting costs and preparing to reduce our budget for next season.

IMussa needs to be given time, he’s 21 and also needs to be played higher like he was at Weymouth too deep a role on this set up but that would mean moving Robinson which you could argue why did we sign him.
The manager started the season off playing a deeper game to avoid another poor defensive ...

It was amazing that it took Daryl 31 minutes to realise that the back 3 was not working.
Mussa is a luxury this team cannot afford. Jogs around making no or token effort when we don’t have the ball.

Re: Please post protestations about Bromley (H) here
Manny should have come off half an hour before the end. Problem was he had to get Mussa off because as good as he is with the ball - and he is very good on the ball - he does very little when we don’t have the ball to get it back.

Re: Squad for 22/23
Wright is a good player, but he isn’t a good defender. We didn’t score huge numbers of goals from set pieces, indeed one might argue that a tall centre half taking corners for a team lacking in height reduces the chance of scoring?

Re: King's Lynn..
Exactly - the ball went out of play and the ref allowed the game to restart with a throw, then gave the goal. It was definitely out of play, the incident was right in front of me - the funniest part was Macca booted the bloke up the arse “trying to get the ball”.
