Slough / Last game of the season
Whilst today might be a relatively meaningless game, there are quite a few big games to look over your shoulder at.
Probably the biggest game ever in the National League Rochdale v York - winner takes promotion.
Then at our level, you’ve got both Worthing and Hornchurch who could win promotion ...

Re: John Still
We’re all very grateful for what a John did in his first spell with us, let not mention the second very poor spell with some good money spent, but let’s not pretend he’s on the game for the love of it, the pound note means more as his journey he has proved down the years.
Oh you are sooooooo ...

Re: John Still
I think John is doing it because he loves the football and he is lucky that clubs still want to pay him.
The late great legend that was Ted Hardy (RIP) only stopped scouting for us when his wife (RIP) became unwell and he didn’t want to leave her alone; he then became unwell too and unable to ...

Re: John Still
I spoke to John at Tommy Horan’s funeral about him coming back, and he said ‘no one has asked me yet but never say never’.
The thing is, as much as John is a legend and I love him dearly, he has his own scouting team, so when he leaves, his whole network leaves and the club is left without. We have ...

Re: Worthing
I didn’t go and well done to everyone who did.
However, playing the team who are top of the league and in form, and in a tight promotion race, was never going to go well for us.
But looking above, I feel a bit sick that this years teams have been relegated from the National on 39 points. Some ...

Re: Season Tickets
Before relegation we would regularly sell 600-700 season tickets.
However, as we know from comments on here, many previous season tickets holders said they didn’t renew this season.
It will be interesting to see what percentage of those who had a season ticket for this season have renewed.

Re: Managerial candidates
I think Lee Allinson the manager of Hemel Hempstead would be a good choice. He has done a great job in getting a small cub like them in to contention of the playoffs.
He is 40 years of age and knows this division well and would be a realistic and worthwhile appointment.
No because he seems to be ...

Re: Season Tickets
I had trouble doing it on my mobile but then logged in on a desktop, clicked the link in the email and managed to do it that way.
But yes, I have renewed.
