Re: Afc Wimbledon away FA Cup 2nd round
Agreed, not a perfect draw, but the pressure is all on them. They’re also a worse team than Crewe based on how the table reads, so let’s go into this again with no fear and see what we can get. When will we have confirmation on the time and date? I know this is unlikely to be a TV match, but it woul...

Re: Crewe away
Wow. Honestly who saw that coming? Massively depleted squad, much better and in-form opposition, and a long trip up there too. What a performance that took from every single player, I really hope they got to fully enjoy themselves last night because they earned it. Now let’s hope for a nice home tie...

Re: Eastleigh home
You can keep your 7-1s and 4-0s, would just be nice to be able to protect a one goal lead at home. We always have to score more because you know we'll concede late on. I thought Eastleigh definitely had good spells, noticeably at 1-1 until Junior scored and then the beginning of the second, but I'm...

Re: Fylde home
Lovely 4-0 win. N’Guessan for me was the clear man of the match. Was a everywhere today and nothing was really getting past him. Fylde absolutely dreadful though, got to feel sorry for their fans. Travelled all that way, treated to that performance, and they didn’t even get to sit in the sunshine

Re: FA Cup
Really no that’s not the draw you want. Comfortably better than us without the allure of being a money spinning tie even if we do go out. But we beat Grimsby in the cup a few years ago who were much better than us, and came so close with Mansfield too. It’s not impossible. But it is the sort of tie ...

Re: FA Cup
Felt so ominous at 1-1, even for moments at 1-0. So it’s a massive relief to see us exercise the spirit of Cup Ties Past and turn that into a comfortable victory for once. Hopefully a nice easy home draw coming our way tonight.

Re: Yeovil Away
Sounds like a dreadful performance and really there isn’t any excuse for it. Hard to not be pissed off that Morias has now disappeared from the squad after the cup match on Tuesday, alongside Cox. When will we catch a break with injuries? Maybe when we start to sign players that aren’t injury prone,...

Re: National League Cup
Just the two players off injured in tonight’s game. I’m so glad we signed up for this. Massive thanks to the moron MD for bringing this cup into our lives. Hope the 50 strong crowd was worth it

Re: FA Cup
Hopefully Leiston win that. Hornchurch is a bit of a boring draw for me. Play them almost every preseason and they have one of the worst grounds going. Not to forget that their squad of ex-Daggers will probably give us a tonking knowing our luck…

Re: Solihull Moors (Home)
I really really do not like Grego-Cox. He had some good moments in defence, but on the ball he is shocking. Hill can easily start in his place, and better yet when Hess & N’Guessan are back we can push Rees up and drop him. Despite the unfortunate result, we can walk away with a lot of positives...

Re: Commentary - 'pool v Daggers
Fantastic win by the sounds of it. These scrappy 1-0 away wins are the sign of a team that can go far up the table, long may it continue. Great to also have Hill back and it sounds like Hess, Rendall & N’Guessan could be back soon (not that I would remotely consider dropping Phippsy right now). ...

National League Cup
We have all known it’s coming but today it was finally announced. First match for us is in two weeks… Frankly it’s still just as disgusting that this cup is going ahead. Southend and Barnet have both seemingly had the sense and respect for their fans to refuse to participate, if only our club has th...

Re: Gateshead (H) Thread
That. Was. Incredible. What a great week. Every player has turned up and made themselves count this week. Fantastic saves, fantastic tackles, fantastic goals. Absolutely demolished two teams expected to be up there and I couldn’t be happier for the boys and Strevs. Honestly nothing more needs to be ...

Played quite well tonight. Think Dion Pereira could end up being a big player for us this season.
