Re: Boreham wood
Didn't we officially take 396 there at Easter? Although they supposedly had 5 more fans than us in the ground although the home end look particularly sparse compared to the away end. Imagine around 250 this time with it being a week night and a lot of people being on holiday this time round.

Re: Dag 2 Barrow 1
Great result to beat one of our bogey teams of last season, even if they appear to be weaker than last time out. With 7 games in the opening month, it's important to not be playing catch up early on. Thought it was a very hardworking performance and over time, we'll become much stronger. Thought sta...

Re: Penalties again
. JMD has been amazing all season but hate the way he insists on taking pens, should've let Okenabirhie or even Hawkins (at least he pits it in the corners) have it. I knew he was going to miss and it was a shocking pen, great height and weight for the keeper. . He "insists on taking pens"...

Re: Next up... Guiseley AFC
Agree a lot with Lee here that it'll be a lot more difficult than the league table suggests. However, these are the games we have to win in order to keep the pressure on Lincoln which should be the aim at the moment. It'll be hard to change a winning team however does anyone know the whereabouts of ...

Re: Ollie news/speculation
As for Hawkins, rumoured on Twitter via Post Daggers podcast that we want 500K + a loan back. Brave but ambitious decision considering I believe this guy could be the difference between us mounting a serious charge for promotion or not. Hopefully Glynn Hopkins money will stabilise us a club for the ...

Re: Ollie news/speculation
You bring him up a lot more than this thread not to mention the parody twitter accounts of Tamplin and Dan Groves which are embarrassing. Who do you prefer behind the striker, Whitley or Guttridge? What's Frankie Raymond's best position? What do you value Ollie Hawkins at? Rarely see you talking ab...

Re: Ollie news/speculation
Merge seems more obsessed than most. Although all of you would be best to forget about him now, he doesn't own our club and is trying to do a good job somewhere else (how that goes remains to be seen and quite frankly shouldn't even concern us). Wasn't this thread meant to be about Ollie Hawkins? Fo...

Re: Curo
Left Eastleigh after Martin Allen leaves Barnet to manage them. So do we need any strikers to help chip in with goals drying up atm? No thanks he was shit last season. Hardly setting the world alight at Easleight. It's never going to happen but he's got more to offer us than Benno. Still think he'd...

Re: Gateshead Home
Finally, a post about the football which is refreshing to see! I'm predicting another really tough afternoon here again today, Gateshead appear to be a very capable side with their league position and not far off the level of opposition we faced last month. Added with the fact injuries are piling up...

Re: so...who starts
Justham because Bal knows him from college. Has to be Justham for me. Commands his box better than Cousins and seems to have a good understanding with the back 4 of Raymond, Robson/Staunts, Doey and Widdowson. Cousins is not far behind and probably too good to be a n.o 2 but did find him unable to ...

October
I have to say how proud I am of the boys this month. I don't think anyone can argue this has been our toughest month in terms of the level of opposition faced and the key players we've had missing for lengthy periods of time. To take two massive and gritty wins over Eastleigh (Without Doey, Boucs an...

Re: Aldershot Town
It's looking to be another tough night tonight, I hope I'm wrong but imagine Craig Robson and Fejiri will both miss tonight and potentially Saturday depending on what the damage is. The Shots are in a decent position so it's a shame we've not got a Guiseley or a Ferriby tonight (no disrespect to the...
