No thanks.
He was a better player than a lot gave him credit for. He’d get goals but you’d need some that could cross to make it work worth having him.
I don’t think I could stand hearing people moaning that he wasn’t winning headers when the ball wasnt within 20 yards of him.

Re: Commercial Manager
Making someone redundant involves no longer needing someone to do their job.
It would be pretty difficult to argue you no longer need anyone to do the role of anyone in a football team.

Re: Best goal you've ever seen live
For Dagenham, surprised no one has mentioned Ashley Hemmings’ ridiculous tight-angle volley to make it 4-4 in that game. Was right in front of me so maybe it makes more of an impact. Probably not been mentioned as it wasn’t a volley and was a mis-hit cross. Boucauds goal in that game was a better s...

Re: Best goal you've ever seen live
Annie’s against Aldershot was a belter. Taiwo scored a belted against Hereford I think it was as well. Sure I saw Paul Cobb chip a keeper for around the penalty spot once and Danny Shipp scoring with an overhead kick against Southend in the ESC will always be a favourite of mine. Another favourite w...

Re: M-m-m-my Corona
Working from home. Hate it - packed in a job a few years back because there was too much working from home. Hoping this doesn’t drag in too long. Will have to head in to the office occasionally which will be a welcome break. My “hobby” is Scouts. Any face to face stuff in that is suspended until fur...

Re: Who would we like McMahon to bring in...
I thought he was massively overrated but at this point I'd snap your arm off for him. Massively overrated? He was being moaned about all the time. Mainly because he did what he was told to and not chase around like a headless chicken. We'd need someone that could cross a ball if we did bring him ba...

Re: THOMMO - AN APOLOGY
I don’t have a vendetta. My post stated facts; you cannot defend the indefensible. The best thing to unite the club is for there to be a major change at the top. You posted your opinion and things you are “led to believe”. Like you say, you can’t defend the indefensible and that includes your pathe...

Re: THOMMO - AN APOLOGY
“vendetta” “jealousy” “he cares about the club” The things I see are that since he has been MD the club has shrunk and been on a downward spiral. He may be a good administrator however he authorised the overspending that put the whole future of the club in peril so that we had to open discussions w...

Re: THOMMO - AN APOLOGY
The constant “he used to be the pot boy/bar manager” stuff is irrelevant. I did other jobs before doing what I do now. It also ignores the intervening periods of Thommo overseeing the club getting promoted to league 1. It’s better to ask what the club needs to do to grow and whether he is able to d...

Re: Thompson
"We aren't going out attempting to poach managers already currently at clubs. Those who apply or are already available will be the only ones considered." BRILLIANT, so only managers good enough to be currently out of work, are under consideration. Thommo.................. The gift that ke...

Re: Liam Gordon
Liam is another like Lucque or Kandi, much better players when they’re not playing. His defensive play is not great - see his performance at Carshalton fur example. Hes tended to add something going forward, and it’s not like we’ve been keeping clean sheets without him. I’m not sure what sending hi...

Re: Best/Worst Managers in D&Rs history....
I like Adrian's assessment a lot but my only gripe would be the damage that Cusack did to the club when he came in. Carr was awful but just clearing up the mess that Cusack had made of continuing the John Still legacy. Having said that he was very limited on budget yet Graham Carr was given hundred...
