This. Would seriously question the ambition of the owners if Cox were appointed.Diggerthedog wrote: Sat Apr 11, 2026 8:36 pm Hope it’s not Sam Cox, bombed out at Wealdstone and part of that ballet league nonsense. No thanks.

Absolutely this. This season has been an abomination and I can't wait for it to be over.Mark wrote: Sun Apr 05, 2026 4:58 pm Can barely be bothered with this now. Just want the season to be over.

Re: Hornchurch A
That was absolutely awful, but hopefully will confirm to our owners that we need a wholesale clearance over the summer if we are to challenge next year. You wouldn't have known it was a derby at all, no intensity from us whatsoever. I won't name individual performances as there were too many bad ...

Were you living under a rock when there was the big palaver about Michael Hector last season?!

Re: Thompson steps down
But despite the mountain of people: current employees, past employees, board members still with us and those unfortunately not, sponsors past and present, fans who still go and those who don't, that have all had incredibly negative experiences with him (myself included), we shouldn't say a bad word ...

Re: League 2 Wages
I didn't even get as far as the club by club bit of the article - this sentence told me all I needed to know: "drawing on ESTIMATED figures by Salary Sport", I.e. that these figures are pretty much made up with no actual basis.

Re: Eastbourne (h)
Not a chance in hell that there were 1100 in the ground tonight even if you include stewards, players, subs, coaches, groundsman and camera crew in the number. Around 700 would be generous - Bury Road end was largely empty, Sieve had barely anyone in it and there spaces galore in the stands too. I ...

Re: Ebbsfleet
A takeover might or might not happen but if it does and certain people remain in place what’s the point? Same old.
Absolutely this. All the fanfare of Club Underdog (and predecessors) taking over, and yet (despite numerous people on here saying he would be gone) he remains in place casting his ...

Re: Ebbsfleet
That first half was utterly dreadful. Their goal - if you're playing with three centre backs, how on earth do you end up with 20 yards between two of them?! Second half was much better because we tried to play on the front foot (albeit still with lots of trying to pass it around at the back which ...

Re: Wealdstone (a)
only a very outside chance of getting into the playoffs something needs to change very soon.
I don't know how many games you have been to Len, but there is far more chance of us looking over our shoulder again this season than there is of us looking upwards to the playoffs.
Also NBDag, there ...

Re: Hemel (A)
A dreadful performance and got what we deserved, were lucky it was only one nil in the end. I have absolutely no idea what Marsh adds to the team, he is utterly abysmal every time I've seen him play. Haigh is one of the most frustrating players I've seen for a long time, never knows when to release ...

No, it's what happens in the complete absence of any information from the club.Corinthian wrote: Fri Dec 05, 2025 8:06 pm The chat about the club ownership seems to have turned into a metaphysical discussion about the nature of existence. This is what happens when we don’t have a weekend game.

Hearing this is now all done, another YouTuber.
Can only assume, if true, that the Qatari Consortium and "Joe" either pulled out a while ago or never existed in the first place. Either way, the silence from the club since the big fanfare of the announcement in the summer has been abhorrent and ...

Re: Bath (A)
Think we played Bath away in the FA Cup maybe 15 years ago. Believe it was a 1-0 win at their place and featured without a doubt the worst corner that has ever been taken in football history, where Dominic Green (I think) just missed the ball and twatted the flag.
Pretty sure it was Gavin ...
