Re: The crisis at Hereford United
A couple of years on & Hereford FC are thriving, 13 points clear of Evostik S&W ,unbeaten in the League & average crowds of 2,600+ inc 4,406 on BH Monday. Great to see them doing so well & at this rate Vanarama National Lge beckons in 3/4 years time.

Re: John Still Playlist
Same old song - 4 Tops.
The Song remains the same - Led Zep.
Erase & rewind - The Cardigans.
Here I go again - Whitesnake.
Back for more/good - Take That (I'm not a fan of theirs so not sure of the title).

Re: Qatar 2022
Astonishing decision to give it to Qatar in the first place - no football pedigree, weather & temperature in Summer, poor human rights record, persecution of gays etc. I believe Australia should have been awarded it instead, it would have run smoothly, made a profit, the Aussies do at least like ...

Re: Football heroes
Continuing the Chelsea theme as a lifelong CFC fan as well as D&R, I loved watching Ossie in his prime, Dave Webb was a great terrace hero,Chopper of course, latterly Gianfranco Zola; from other Clubs - Bobby Moore, Brooking,Frank Worthington,Tony Currie,Eddie Gray (probably the only Leeds player...

Re: Dagenham and Redbridge?
Sadly I cannot afford it any more but followed from 1992 merger until end of 2012-13 season.Interesting question posed though, many still regard the Club as Dagenham I believe, which it emphatically isnt!!

Re: what a load of bs
On a slight tangent the Boxing Day crowd was under 1,800, comfortably the smallest FL crowd of the day, on Boxing Day Clubs usually get their biggest of the season & on that basis we would normally expect around 2,500-2,800, people are voting with their feet & not turning up & will conti...

Re: The crisis at Hereford United
A very sad business all round, whilst the fans who have boycotted HU games shouldn't really do so & should still be attending you can understand why they are - how some of the people who have 'run' HU have apparently been fit for purpose is a complete mystery, as always it is a salutary lesson i...

Re: AwayDays
[quote="Mark"]Can't stand it there. The facilities are dreadful, they never give us enough space and it is really badly organised and stewarded. And their fans are pathetic. If you're 6ft plus & on the big side then the seats are far too cramped & you have to stand despite the Stew...

Re: Dwight Gayle
Dwight again showed he is a penalty box predator today & took his chance well. Palace would do well to give him more games.games time as he will always score goals, IMHO he is the best natural goalscorer this Club has had.

Re: Ched the nice footballer roll model....
Bit rich coming from someone who can never comtemplate anybody's point of view but his own. Considering you're going on at Arnu for never admitting he gets or says things wrong, it's rather ironic coming from you. You are the most stubborn person on here. I've never in 'x' amount of years of readin...

Re: Tamworth or Southport
Thought of Southport takes my memory back to a game against them an eternity ago. We had two players sent off, l think before half time, dont recall who. Was one Stein?? Anyway it was probably one of the most hideous officiating displays l EVER have witnessed at a live match and l genuinely feared ...

Re: Shrewsbury
Different competition admittedly but if Shrewsbury play anything like last night this Saturday then a home win is unlikely, but you never know!!
I seem to recall us winning 5-0 in early Jan one season after 2 successive defeats to Aldershot at Christmas.
