Re: A13 steel!

Used to be in Family Stand and I only really noticed the TBS create an atmosphere once we started again in The National league which is a bit odd given all the well supported teams we had down in League 2. So I got my STs in there and there's a hardcore of 30 or so I'd say that generally try and cre...

Re: Salford

Yeah, they're the best team I seen this season and I don't think anyone around me was too disappointed at the end. I disagree they bossed the second half. More than likely it was because they had 10 but not necessarily. (Swansea managed to come behind to beat Millwall today despite playing almost th...

Re: National League Give All Your Clubs A Chance

Of course it's about choice no-one makes anyone attend a football match. The point I would make is though I can absolutely afford it there are certainly times (post holiday , Christmas for example) when I think I could probably do with not travelling to Barnet away. I go to all the games with my two...

Re: Line Up at the Hive

Y'man has to score that header, unforgivable really. Again lots of effort and desire and whilst I do think there were moments of quality there are just too many mistakes. Second goal seemed genuine quality but the first although well worked we just seemed to stand still whilst they played it round us.

Re: Barnet on Monday / Random thoughts

Talking about Cheek as if he was some world beater. He looked good early doors with Ferrier but didn't look half the player after his injury, in fact I thought he was quite poor and missed several very good opportunities (Sutton away being the best). He played well coming on as a sub away at Dover t...

Re: Barnet on Monday / Random thoughts

Barnet got their first win yesterday so this is going to be a slightly different game now. I do find it slightly reassuring that all our high-priced team are struggling to get results at barnet. They could have remained with us and we’d still be in the same position as we are now. Even so, I was th...

Re: Where will the first win come from?

Difficult to see...as others have said no lack of effort but short on quality. Defending for equaliser was shocking, several chances to clear before they scored. I wouldn't say Pools were vastly superior but they shifted the ball about much slicker and had a couple of midfielders who controlled the ...

Re: Staying over Daggers v Pools

Hi mate, my local The Golden Lion on the edge of Romford town centre in the market place is decent on a Saturday for live music. Historic old pub with good range of beers. Good to have a few choices! Mind your head in the Lion if you are over 5.6 tall!!   Haha, I'm 6 2" it a...
